Erin Napier revealed the many reasons why she’s a homebody — and most HGTV fans said they fully understand why after seeing photos of the Napiers’ home. Check out the pics!
Erin Napier Reveals Why She’s a Homebody
On April 8, Erin took to Instagram to confess that she’s not one to venture away from home, providing solid photo evidence.
“Why I am a homebody,” she wrote in the caption.
The first image showed a gorgeous backyard space with a pool her kids were playing in. The next photo was a sweet little puppy.
Napier also included a pic of hot cross buns and some scenes from the backyard and garden spaces.
Fans all agreed — with a home like that, there’s no reason to go elsewhere.
There was a flood of comments, including, “I would be too with that backyard setup!!” and “I’d be a homebody here, too!”
One fan noted, “I’d never leave this gorgeous place!!”
“You have made a literal heaven on earth in this place,” another follower commented.
One fan pointed out, “Space. Trees. Yard. Garden. Shade. Pool. All the components for a full and happy life. Together.”
“Because ‘when you’re looking for happiness, you don’t need to look further than your own backyard,'” one fan noted.
Another commenter shared, “You and Ben worked extremely hard for years to reach this place. You still do.”
Ben & Erin Napier Are Homeschooling Their Kids
On September 1, 2025, Napier took to Instagram to share her plans to homeschool their daughters Helen and Mae.
“Homeschool was our dream from the day Helen was born, but work was busy then Mae was born and we just kept saying ‘someday we will,'” Napier explained in the caption of the since-deleted post.
The HGTV star continued, “After 3 years at an amazing little school, the dream wouldn’t leave me alone and we weren’t ready to let this summer of being together and having fun end.”
She added, “So, here we go. My painting studio became a classical school overnight.”
In a February 1, Instagram post, Napier gave a small school update. “January flew by as we had the month off from filming and I got to be a stay at home teacher mom!” she wrote.
She shared some of the lessons and creative projects her girls were doing in their homeschool, and included photos that showed their well-spent time together as a family.
