The hosts of the upcoming series “Home Town Takeover Canada” have been revealed: Bryan and Sarah Baeumler. And, for HGTV fans hoping to see Ben and Erin Napier on the Canadian “Home Town” spinoff, there’s good news: the couple are set to make appearances throughout the series.
Bryan & Sarah Baeumler to Host Ben & Erin Napier’s New ‘Home Town Takeover Canada’
On June 2, Rogers Sports & Media announced that Bryan and Sarah will serve as hosts of “Home Town Takeover Canada.”
According to the press release, production on the series is set to begin in June 2026.
“Based on the hit U.S. format, ‘Home Town Takeover Canada’ follows a full-scale small-town revitalization, transforming homes, businesses and public spaces while breathing new life into a deserving Canadian community,” the release notes.
“The series will feature appearances from Erin and Ben Napier,” it adds.
Last June, Ben reposted a video from the Canadian television network Citytv. In the video, Ben shared, “You’re getting a ‘Home Town Takeover Canada Edition’ on HGTV.”
Erin added, “That’s so exciting because small towns in Canada are going to be inspired to have a bright new future. And, who knows what town is going to get chosen?”
In a December 2025 interview with CinemaBlend, Erin explained the reason why she and Ben can’t host the Canadian edition.
“Our production company is Canadian. The people who make our show, they’re passionate about this Canadian takeover,” she said. “But, because we are Americans, we are not legally allowed to host the show. We can only be in it as, like, guest stars.”
Ben added, “Yeah, a Canadian broadcast show has to be hosted by Canadian talent. 90%; I think 90 was the number. I thought it was just a majority.”
“We know who it is, and I can say that we really like them,” he added. “It’s another husband and wife team.”
New Bryan & Sarah Baeumler Shows Coming Soon
In addition to hosting “Home Town Takeover Canada,” Bryan and Sarah have two new shows coming out as part of their exclusive multi-year production deal for HGTV in Canada: “Baeumler Ranch” and “Sarah Baeumler By Design.”
According to Rogers Sports & Media, “‘Baeumler Ranch’ follows Bryan and Sarah as they descend on the Prairies to tackle the most ambitious project of their careers: transforming a sprawling Rocky Mountain ranch into a world-class destination. Business, design, and survival collide, as Bryan and Sarah set out to create a uniquely Canadian hotspot.”
