“Playing Pebble Beach with my fellow Canadians,” Scott said in the video. However, he wasn’t referring to other golfers; a flock of geese can be seen casually enjoying the golf course behind him.
In addition to showcasing his unexpected golfing buddies, Scott gave fans a sneak peek at the sunburn he got while playing. “Feeling PGA ready at Pebble. Even have the tan line to prove it,” he captioned the post.
Scott has a Long History of Loving Golf
GettyGolfing is nothing new for Scott, who has repeatedly shared his love of the sport. “I love golf because it’s something I can do when I’m a lot older,” he said during the PGA Tour in 2018. “It’s also a game of finesse. It’s a game of concentration.” He went on to describe golf as a distraction from his busy life. “I absolutely love the game,” he explained.
Even as a teenager, Scott was already perfecting his skills on the course. During the interview, he shared a fond memory of scoring a hole in one at just thirteen years old. “I searched for my ball for about fifteen minutes and couldn’t find it,” he said of the unexpected shot. “Then I realized it was in the cup.”
The HGTV Star has Participated in Several Pro-Am Events

For example, he joined forces with pro golfer Ariya Jutanugarn in 2019 for the Hugel-Air Premia pro-am competition. “Actually, [he’s] a very good golfer,” Jutanugarn said in an interview at the event. “He hit a few good shots today,” she said.
Of course, conquering the green is far from the only thing on Scott’s agenda in 2025. Between episodes of “Celebrity IOU” and “Chasing The West,” the HGTV star has had a busy filming schedule this summer. However, he still makes time for all of the other important things in his life, including golf and spending time with his family.
