Egypt Sherrod Explains Why She’s Been Offline
On December 29, Sherrod took to Instagram to share photos of recent life highlights and gave a brief explanation about her social media absence.
“I’ve been offline, not lost,” she wrote in the caption. “Resting in stillness, letting life breathe, and remembering that not everything meaningful needs to be shared in the moment. 🩷🩷 Love you and Happy Holidays.”
Fans flooded the comments section with messages of love and support for Sherrod, with many noting how much they enjoyed seeing new photos of her.

After taking this moment to recharge, Sherrod and her husband will embark on a big adventure.
On December 14, Sherrod took to Instagram to share that she and Jackson are joining the Rise and Rhythm Cruise. In the since-deleted post, she wrote, “Everyyyyyybody is going! Your ‘holiday gift’ and Valentine’s Day problem is solved. Come join Mike and I and friends on the @riseandrhythmcruise.”
Sherrod added, “Gloomy February is urging you to book with less than 2 months to go, choose the Caribbean sun, and the party that comes with it.”
According to the website, the Rise and Rhythm Cruise is February 1-5, traveling from Tampa, Florida, to Cozumel, Mexico. The four-night cruise aboard the Norwegian Jewel “brings together a stellar lineup of musical artists and influential speakers for an unforgettable experience.”
In a November 6 Instagram post on the cruise’s Instagram account, the couple shared more details. “This is like a whole date week! We’re gonna see you there,” Sherrod noted in the video.
