Jonathan Knight confirmed some big news about his HGTV show and when fans can expect its return. The “Crashers” star also revealed why there have been delays with the remaining season 1 episodes.
Jonathan Knight Confirms ‘Crashers’ Return in 2027
On August 27, Knight took to Instagram with a quick behind-the-scenes look at filming “Crashers.”
As the camera captured him walking down a set of stairs, the text noted “All new episodes of ‘Crashers’ coming 2027.”
Fans flooded the comments section, with one person pointing out that only 11 of the season’s 13 “Crashers” episodes aired.
“2027?!? What?!? WHY 😭,” another fan asked.
Knight responded, “Why??? Cause we have to film the episodes first.”
The fan noted, “I thought you had filmed them all, or most, before it started airing. I will miss seeing your face weekly.”
“Jon, I’m really enjoying this show,” another fan wrote. “I don’t know if I can wait until 2027! Maybe we can ‘Crash’ in Vegas!”
Others shared, “Noooo we gotta wait that long 😢🥹” and “Aww that’s so long of a wait but also understand you need some down time after Vegas! See you in 2027.”
Some fans took a moment to appreciate Knight’s canceled show “Farmhouse Fixer.”
“Love this show and also loved ‘Farmhouse Fixer’!” one fan shared.
Another follower asked, “Can we please also have ‘Farmhouse Fixer’ back?”
“Throw a ‘Farmhouse Fixer’ in there while you’re at it!” one fan noted.
Another person asked, “What happened to ‘Farmhouse Fixer’? Loved that one too ❤️.”
Others shared that they would love to have Knight approach them for a “Crashers” remodel. HGTV describes the show as a “high-energy, ambush-style renovation series where unsuspecting homeowners get the surprise of a lifetime — a free, 72-hour renovation of a lackluster space of their choosing.”
One curious fan asked, “What is the one home project you absolutely will not do?”
For Knight, he’s up for anything, it seems. “I don’t think there is anything I wouldn’t do,” he responded.
Jonathan Knight’s Sister Teases Additional ‘Crashers’ Episodes Coming in 2027
On August 31, his sister Sharon Knight, who runs the Jonathan Knight HGTV Fan Page on Facebook, shared more details about what’s in store for fans.
“Just an FYI … Jonathan confirmed with me over the weekend, while he was home, that the remaining episodes of the second half of Season 1 ‘CRASHERS’ won’t air until January,” she wrote.
She explained why, writing, “He’s busy filming them now — before and after his NKOTB [New Kids on the Block] Vegas residency.”
“In the meantime, keep an eye out for him and reruns of both #CRASHERS and #FarmhouseFixer on #HGTV!” she added.
While fans were understanding about the delay in releasing new episodes, one fan commented, “Seriously?! We have to wait until next year for the last TWO EPISODES? That makes zero sense.”
Knight’s sister responded with a bit of good news about the show, writing, “There are a lot more than 2!”
It sounds like “Crashers” fans will be rewarded for their patience.
