Jonathan Knight is busy at work, performing with his boyband New Kids on the Block—but that doesn’t mean HGTV fans have to say goodbye.
Knight’s sister, Sharon Knight, seemingly spilled details on his return to the network.

The singer has appeared on a number of renovation series since the debut of his hit show, “Farmhouse Fixer,” in March 2021. In the years since, fans have watched him take on projects in “Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp,” “Rock the Block” and the reboot of “Crashers.”
However, last month, fans noticed that “Crashers” suddenly stopped airing new episodes. Sharon, however, seemingly took to social media to share details about its return.
“Just an FYI…Jonathan confirmed with me over the weekend, while he was home, that the remaining episodes of the second half of Season 1 “CRASHERS” won’t air until January,” she shared via Facebook, as seen in a screenshot posted to Reddit.
She added, “He’s busy filming them now—before and after his NKOTB Vegas residency.”
“I heard there was a new day and time slot as well! Stay tuned for that info soon,” she wrote. “In the meantime, keep an eye for him and reruns of both #Crashers and #FarmhouseFixer on #HGTV!”
Boyband to Flipper
Knight previously opened up about his transition from boy bander to designers on an episode of Alison Victoria’s podcast, “Pap Smear.”
“In 1994, we were done. The music industry changed, and we just were done,” he said of his time with New Kids during his appearance in May. “That was a really hard time in my life. I think I was 23, 24. Everything I had done since I was a teenager, working-wise, just came to a screeching halt.”
He went on to share that he fell into a depression following the drastic life change.
“I was living in a 12,000-square-foot house with my family. I just remember opening the door and looking up and down the hallway and saying, ‘Where is everybody?’ There’s no more roadies, there’s no more New Kids,” he recalled. “There’s no more managers, there’s nothing.”
Looking for something to keep himself busy and distracted, Knight purchased his first flip property.
“I went out and bought my first flip property and just loved it. It was my second calling. [So I] just started doing a lot of houses in Boston,” he said. “I kind of got addicted. The funny thing is the guy that I went into business with was a cop in Boston. He used to sit at the base of my driveway to keep people from coming to knock on my door. And he said, ‘Do you want to flip houses?'”
Things clearly worked out for Knight as he not only landed his own renovation series with HGTV, “Farmhouse Fixer,” but New Kids on the Block got back together in 2008.
“The top reason I love my job, both my jobs, is giving to people and making people happy. There’s nothing better than that,” Knight told Victoria.
Unfortunately, his hit series was canceled, but Knight has not said goodbye to his HGTV career.
