HGTV’s Schedule for April 2026 Includes 2 New Shows

It’s springtime at HGTV — and the April 2026 schedule has both new shows premiering and new episodes of fan-favorite series airing. See what’s on the HGTV schedule for the month, including the premieres of “Tropic Like It’s Hot” and “World’s Bargain Dream Homes.”

New & Returning HGTV Shows Premiering in April 2026

A couple of new shows premiere on HGTV in April, including “Tropic Like It’s Hot,” which kicks off with two back-to-back episodes on April 6 at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET. The HGTV site explains: “With the help of a local real estate expert, sun-chasing duos will tour exotic properties while navigating romance, relocation and high-stakes decisions as they turn up the heat on their next chapter.”

“World’s Bargain Dream Homes” premieres on April 14 at 9 and 9:30 p.m. ET. The new show is similar to “House Hunters International,” but with a much smaller budget. HGTV’s official announcement explains that the network’s “newest house hunting series will inspire adventurous buyers to dream big and buy low. Authentic, entertaining and humorous episodes will follow people brave enough to purchase the world’s most affordable properties that also happen to be stunning, turnkey and in desirable locations around the globe, many of which offer incredible cost-saving incentives.”

“Rock the Block” returns with a new season on April 13 at 8 p.m. ET. “‘Rock the Block’ is back, and we’re going all in Vegas style with a bold new lineup of teams,” host Ty Pennington shared in a statement. “The stakes are higher than ever, and these duos are betting on great design in hopes of hitting the renovation jackpot.”

New Episodes of HGTV Favorites Also Air in April 2026

New episodes of shows that kicked off new seasons earlier this year also air in April.

“Bachelor Mansion Takeover” premiered in March and the two-hour finale airs at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, April 6, with the final challenge. The show followed 12 former “Bachelor,” “Bachelorette,” “Golden Bachelor” and “Golden Bachelorette” contestants who transformed Bachelor Mansion spaces in weekly elimination challenges.

“Renovation Aloha” returned on March 31 and airs new episodes Tuesdays in April at 8 p.m. ET. HGTV announced the show’s return in February, noting on Instagram: “#RenovationAloha is back! See Tristyn & Kamohai tackle their toughest Hawaii flips yet — from a property with a shocking lava‑tube discovery to a massive multi-home project in Hilo — on a new season starting Tuesday, March 31, at 8 pm ET/PT on HGTV.”

“Wild Vacation Rentals” sees hosts Sherry Cola and D’Arcy Carden visiting a few more bizarre rentals in April, airing on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.

Ben and Erin Napier’s “Home Town” season 10 started in January and still has new episodes airing on Sundays, beginning on April 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

“Property Brothers: Under Pressure” kicked off in March and continues to air new episodes on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET throughout April.

New episodes of “House Hunters” and “House Hunters International” also continue to air each week in April.

    • I completely agree. Plus, thea 10 to 12 yr old House hunters on every night just got real old. And wild vacation rentals is just plain unwatchable.
