Long-Awaited HGTV Spinoff Series Gets Official Premiere Date

Bryan and Sarah Baeumler are back! The HGTV fan-favorites are starring in a spinoff of their beloved “Renovation Island.”

HGTV announced the exciting news, along with the highly anticipated premiere date, and fans are going crazy!

‘Renovation Island’ Spinoff

In a joint point with the Baeumler’s, the network announced “Renovation Island: The Adventure Continues.”

“Here we go again,” the Thursday, May 21, Instagram post began. “Calling all of our US viewers….’Renovation Island: The Adventure Continues’ is coming to [HGTV]! From restoring [Pines and Palms Resort Isla Morada] in the Florida Keys to expanding @caerulamar in the Bahamas and all the life happening in between — things are really heating up!”

The photo dump included a series of photo from the tropical set and sweet selfies of the renovation couple.

Pines and Palms Resort also shared in the excitement with an announcement of its own.

“The wait is finally over…” the official Facebook page for the Florida resort shared. “We are beyond excited to officially share that Pines & Palms Resort will be featured alongside Bryan & Sarah Baeumler in the long-awaited new HGTV series, ‘Renovation Island: The Adventure Continues’!”

The post continued, “We cannot wait for you to see the incredible transformation of Pines & Palms and go behind the scenes of our full resort renovation.”

The spinoff series was first teased last March when the resort shared a photo from the grand opening.

“This weekend, we hosted our official Grand Opening after our renovation, that will be featured on HGTV this fall. Thank you to the Islamorada Chamber for the wonderful ribbon cutting, the guests that traveled near and far to join the celebration, and to our incredible staff for making the event a success and for making P&P what it is today,” the caption read. “We are so excited to share the new and improved resort!”

Fans Are Thrilled By the News

Fans of “Renovation Island” flooded the comments section of the announcement post with excitement!

“About time!! It’s been too long,” one fan commented.

“Can’t wait. I watched Renovation Island several times. I hope @hgtv will run all the seasons again. Would love to see from beginning again,” another commented.

“This is exactly what we needed!!!!! So excited you’re coming back,” a third follower added.

Yet another added, “YES! 🙌 One of my favorite HGTV shows ever! Can’t wait!”

“Rock the Block” host Ty Pennington wrote, “Whoop!! Can’t wait 🙌” while “Windy City Rehab” star Alison Victoria commented, “Yes yes yes!!”

“Renovation Island” followed the Baeumlers as they moved their family “to the undeveloped South Andros Island, Bahamas, to restore a rundown beach resort,” according to the show’s description. The series, also known as “Island of Bryan” to Canadian viewers, premiered in June 2020.

In the years since, the couple has become staples on HGTV, appearing in multiple spinoffs, as well as competition series like “Battle on the Beach.” They are also set to host “Home Town” stars Erin and Ben Napier’s upcoming spinoff series, “Home Town Takeover Canada.”

HGTV fans in the States can catch the six-episode season of “Renovation Island: The Adventure Continues” when it premieres on June 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

According to fans of the Baeumlers, Canadian viewers have already had a chance to watch the season, which was called “Building Baeumler” when it aired last fall.

As one fan noted, “Yesss!!! Need some Baeumlers in our lives again 👏”
