HGTV icon Tarek El Moussa is an incredibly busy man. Between filming and family life, he has little other time for anything else. But even so, the “Flip or Flop” star finds a way to make all his dreams come true.

HGTV’s Tarek El Moussa Runs on a Schedule With Very Little Sleep
It’s no surprise to HGTV fans that Tarek El Moussa has an incredibly full schedule. But now, he’s letting his fans see what a full day looks like.
“Day in the life as a TV star ⭐” the father of three captioned a new Instagram video. “Follow along to grab the exact routines I used to flip over 1,000 houses and scale this thing to the big screen!”
“Well, recently I’ve been starting my day at about 9 a.m. because unfortunately, I don’t go to sleep until 5 a.m. because I’m always working,” Tarek said in a voice-over. “To get me ready for that battle of the day against the two blonde girls, I have a protein shake to make sure I’m as strong as possible because those two are scary, of course. And of course, a lot of coffee because I need a lot of caffeine to run away from them.”
Next, Tarek says he goes live on TikTok to help coach homeowners. Then, he and Heather head to set to film for the day. Over the course of filming “The Flip Off,” his wife, Heather, and ex-wife, Christina, have become incredibly close.
“Well, since I do have to film an episode of ‘The Flip Off’ against my wife and my ex-wife, I am kind of screwed because somehow, those two have become best friends and all they do is pick on me. It’s kind of ‘Team Tarek’ versus ‘Team Heather and Christina,'” the HGTV star continues.
After filming wraps for the day, Tarek notes that he tries to fit in as much family time as possible with his wife and children. Long after everyone else in the house goes to bed, Tarek admits he stays up until 5 a.m. working on other projects.
