Kourtney Kardashian turned 47 on April 18, and Kris Jenner marked the day with the kind of birthday post Kardashian fans immediately clock.
In an Instagram tribute filled with family photos, Kris wrote that Kourtney changed her world “in the most magical way” and called watching her grow into the woman she is today “one of my greatest blessings.”
Kris kept the message focused on Kourtney as a daughter and as a mom. She wrote that Kourtney gave her life purpose, love and meaning, then added that she is “such a devoted and incredible mommy” who always puts her family first.
Kourtney Kardashian’s Birthday Comes in Her Family-First Era
That family-first theme fits the version of Kourtney people see now. She shares Mason, Penelope and Reign with Scott Disick, and she welcomed son Rocky Thirteen Barker with Travis Barker on Nov. 1, 2023. Earlier this year on “The Kardashians,” she said she had “retired into motherhood” and made it clear that caring for her baby, her kids and life with Travis had become her priority.
Kourtney has also kept that chapter feeling intimate. She still shares glimpses of Rocky but has largely kept his face out of the spotlight. During Coachella weekend this month, she posted the relatable aftermath of a seven-hour car ride with Rocky, giving followers a look at full mom mode after a long family trip to support Travis as he performed with Clipse.
That is a very different public image from the Kourtney who first became famous when “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” launched in 2007 and turned the whole family into reality TV fixtures. Her life is still public, but the energy around it feels a lot calmer now.

Kourtney has not stepped away from business, though. She still has Poosh, which bills itself as her modern guide to living well, and she expanded that wellness lane with Lemme, the supplement brand she launched in 2022.
That side of her world stayed active this month too. Camp Poosh returned to Coachella Valley for its fourth year, offering what WWD described as a wellness retreat and festival-timed brand experience. The invite-only event featured fitness classes, recovery services, brand activations and a live performance from Ashlee Simpson, keeping Kourtney’s lifestyle brand right in the middle of the festival conversation.
Kourtney at 47 looks like a woman who has exactly what she wants. Motherhood front and center, Travis by her side, Rocky growing up fast and two brands she built from the ground up still thriving. Kris said it best, but the pictures say it too.
