But what do those who the former “American Idol” judge has married before have to say about being with the “On The Floor” hitmaker? Turns out JLo’s exes have so much positive stuff to say about being lucky enough to have dated her, with one ex even branding being with Jennifer Lopez as an experience that was “heavenly”.
GettyFirst Husband: Ojani Noa
In 1997 Jennifer married her first husband, Ojani Noa, who at the time was a waiter at a Cuban restaurant in Miami. The pair had known each other as friends for nearly a decade prior, though sadly the couple’s marriage only lasted for 11 months before it came to an end.
Speaking fondly about Jennifer, Ojani told the Daily Mail: “There were many times I felt like Mr Cinderella. She was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen.”
Second Husband: Cris Judd
After her marriage to Ojani, JLo went on to date and marry backup dancer Cris Judd in 2001. The duo met on the set of her music video production for “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”, but the whirlwind romance came crashing down in July of 2002, with the pair already filing for divorce.
Cris didn’t directly make a comment about JLo but he did tell ‘Us Weekly’ in 2014 that their wedding was quite chaotic due to Jennifer being so high profile in the world of entertainment. He shared: “It’s very tough. You’re no longer a normal person. Unfortunately, it just didn’t work out.”
Third Husband: Ben Affleck
By the end of 2002, Jennifer was engaged to Ben Affleck, though they went their separate ways in 2004. The former flames then reconciled in 2021 and in 2022 they got married again in Las Vegas. Sadly two years after their second wedding they called time on their romance once more, but the pair ended on good terms and Ben appears to have absolutely nothing but love for Jennifer still to this day.
Among Ben’s 12-pages of vows which JLo shared in her newsletter “On The J.Lo”, Ben gushed: “This is heaven. Right Here. We’re in it now.” He also shut down any rumors of bad blood between them in an interview with GQ, noting: “There is no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue.”
Fourth Husband: Marc Anthony
Jennifer met her fourth husband Marc Anthony after her first split from Ben Affleck, but it wasn’t until then that they moved away from being friends into something more romantic. JLo penned something sweet that Marc had said to her inside of her 2014 memoir, “True Love”. She revealed that when they first met, Anthony told her: “One day, you’re going to be my wife.”
Even after the split Marc made sure that a huge deal wasn’t made out of the break up, telling ABC News in 2011: “It wasn’t something sensationalistic. It wasn’t shocking.
