Travis Barker Reveals How He Wants to Be Remembered When He Passes

On August 13 Travis Barker released his vulnerable, tell-all documentary, “Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear”. The doc delves into all kinds of personal topics, from the singer tragically recalling surviving a plane crash in 2008 which claimed the lives of two pilots and two of his close friends, and left him needing a lifesaving medical device, to chatting about his Blink-182 career and how he wants people to remember his legacy.

Here is what the star revealed about how he wants to be remembered as he looks back over his life so far, and it turns out that his wishes are really rather simple.

Travis appears to have two main wishes in terms of how he wants to be remembered. One relates to his craft and one relates to his existence beyond his music – and it’s a wish many people would share who aren’t in the celebrity space.

He revealed: “I think I’d want to be remembered for my music and my drumming and being a great father, husband, and son and brother.”

Travis first began his music career in the mid 1990s, playing as part of a band called Feeble. A year later he joined another group called The Aquabats before hitting it third time lucky and landing a role in Blink-182 in 1998. Blink-182, with the classic lineup of Travis, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge, still make music together and tour to this day.

In terms of family, Travis is married to Kourtney Kardashian, who he shares a son with called Rocky Thirteen. The happy couple welcomed Rocky in November 2023 to their beautiful blended family, as they each share children with previous partners.

Kourtney has three children with former flame Scott Disick – Mason who was born in 2009, Penelope who was born in 2012, and Reign who was born in 2014. Meanwhile Travis has two children with ex Shanna Moakler – Landon who was born in 2003, and Alabama who was born in 2005, as well as Atiana who is his stepdaughter who was born in 1999.

The duo also sparked pregnancy buzz at Travis’ documentary premiere, seemingly unable to keep their hands off of Kourtney’s belly, so who knows? Maybe another little one is on the way!

Travis Barker’s Siblings

Travis has two older sisters, one named Randalai who is 58 and another named Tamara who is 56. His sisters supported him right from the very start of his music career despite the fact that they have largely chosen to remain out of the spotlight of their brother’s fame. They are both going down their own independent career paths, which are not known to the public as their lives are kept almost entirely private.

Regardless of whether anything comes of the pregnancy buzz between Travis and Kourtney it’s amazing to see how much love, support and family Travis has been surrounded by over the years. We wish Travis nothing but a continuation of this love as well as endless success for his documentary release and all upcoming endeavors.
