Netflix has taken to quietly dropping new seasons of hot TV shows, and it’s been a huge risk. The latest was the release of “Tires” Season 3, which arrived on Netflix back on Aug. 13, 2026. There wasn’t a lot of hype, but the fans found it, and quickly made it clear that this is a show they want to see stay.
Just after reaching the No. 5 spot on the Top 10 list for English TV shows on the streamer — its highest spot yet! — Netflix decided it was time to renew “Tires” for Season 4. So far, over the course of the three seasons, the comedy series has amassed 45 million views.
When Will ‘Tires’ Season 4 Come to Netflix?
NetflixEyes are now on when fans will get to watch this new season. It’s taken a little more than a year to create and release each season of the Shane Gillis series so far. The first season arrived in May 2024, and then the second season dropped in June 2025. It then took until August 2026 for the third season, so with that in mind, “Tires” Season 4 will likely arrive around September or October 2027.
The series has had an interesting journey, as it began in 2019 as a YouTube pilot, with Gillis, John McKeever, and Steve Gerben financing the six-episode first season personally. It wasn’t until 2024 that Netflix picked it up, and after that, Netflix has funded subsequent seasons.
It’s even led to a creative partnership between Gillis, McKeever, and Netflix, according to Variety. This allows the duo to bring more shows and movies, while Gillis will also have two stand-up specials heading straight to Netflix.
What to Expect on ‘Tires’ Season 4
NetflixThere are no details about the fourth season’s storylines just yet. This will give time for fans to catch up on the third season if they missed it, and it allows Gillis and co. time to craft the full plotline.
During the third season, Will focused on turning the auto repair chain around, and there were some financial problems to face. It led to both Will and Shane looking at their past to figure out some personal feelings, which would, hopefully, set them up for a bright future. With the renewal, it would hint that the Season 3 problems were solved, but as anyone knows about business, that doesn’t mean success forever. It allows for plenty of difficulties to come during Season 4, which are sure to have a comedic flair to them.
Fans React to Netflix’s Renewal Decision
NetflixFans of “Tires” took to Reddit to share their happiness about the renewal. One user shared that the third season has been the best one yet, and many agreed with that sentiment. One user went a little further, sharing, “1st season was “lets see if this sticks” 2nd was “ok, now here are the characters “ and 3rd makes you care about the characters along with laughing at the semi raunchiness.”
A second agreed, saying, “It felt like they were actually comfortable with the characters and wanted to just put them in situations to see how it plays out. They broke out of the shop in the best way, something the best comedies often do.”
Some fans have even shared what they would like to see during the fourth season, including, “I’m ready for more HR training.”
