Actress Alicia Silverstone has been celebrating her only son’s 15th birthday.
Silverstone, 49, is, of course, most famous for her roles in movies like 1995’s coming-of-age teen comedy “Clueless” and 1997’s superhero flick “Batman & Robin” (per IMDb).
Her only son, Bear, was born on May 5, 2011. His father is rock musician Christopher Jarecki, the frontman for the punk band S.T.U.N.
Bear has developed a reputation as someone who cares deeply for animals and is often seen alongside his mother as an advocate for treating them with kindness.
Silverstone took to Instagram on Bear’s 15th birthday to send him well wishes.
Alicia Silverstone Considers Herself ‘The Luckiest Mama’
Alicia Silverstone took to her Instagram account to post the most heartfelt “Happy Birthday” wishes to her son.
The post, shared with her 3.4 million followers, comprised 19 photographs and videos of Bear over the years. The photographs ranged from newborn baby pictures to pictures that appear to have been taken as recently as this year.
Silverstone’s caption on her post began, “It’s Bear’s birthday today 🎂🥺 15 years with this human… I can’t believe it.”
It continued, “Being his mom has been the most incredible gift. I love my Bear so much ❤️✨.”
The post concluded, ”I’m so proud of who he is… and I’m the luckiest mama.”
Silverstone’s Followers Wished ‘Compassionate’ Bear a Happy Birthday
