“Today” meteorologist Dylan Dreyer shared exciting career news just days after announcing her divorce from husband Brian Fichera.
Dylan Dreyer’s Next Career Move
The longtime host of the 3rd hour of “Today” shared that she is launching a new podcast.
“Hey everyone, I’m Dylan Dreyer, co-host of the third hour of ‘Today’ and mom to three wild boys,” Dreyer shared via Instagram on Tuesday, March 31. “I’ve learnt a lot in my years as a parent, mostly that I don’t have it all figured out yet.”
She continued, “And I’m not the only one…This is my new podcast ‘The Parent Chat’. Each week, I sit down with someone new for honest conversations and real-world advice about parenting.”
Fans were thrilled to get a closer look at Dreyer’s life as she interviews a slew of high-profile celebrity parents.
“I am over here just like winging it,” model Ashley Graham said in a preview from her appearance on the podcast.
“I remember being at the hospital, and they handed us the babies. Stephanie and I just looked at each other like, ‘Wait, we just have them now?!'” Comedian Tig Notaro joked.
Erin Andrews, psychologists Dr. Shefali Tsabary and Dr. Wendy Mogel, and Big Little Feelings founders Deena Margolin and Kristin Gallant will also make appearances.
“So excited for this to be out into the world,” one fan commented on her announcement post.
“This is going to be great! 👏” another wrote.
A third noted, “Finally, this should be a really good one Dylan you’re super funny. We love your kids and you’re open. Can’t wait to listen.👏👏”
Dylan Dreyer Filed for Divorce From Husband Brian Fichera
The “Today” co-host — who shares sons Cal, Ollie and Rusty with Fichera — filed to end her marriage after 12 years last month, according to People.
Dreyer previously announced their decision to separate in an Instagram post in July 2025.
“For many years, I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” she wrote at the time. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.”
She continued, “We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends. Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another.”
