New photos have revealed where various celebrities will be sitting at the 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The television award show airs September 14, 2025 at 8 p.m. on CBS. This year, the event will be hosted by Nate Bargatze and will feature presenters like Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, Elizabeth Banks, and more.
While we don’t yet know who will win the coveted statuettes, we do know where certain people will be sitting. Below are photos and video detailing the 2025 Emmy Awards’ complex seating chart.
The 2025 Emmy Awards Celebrity Seats
GettyAccording to the above photo, Sydney Sweeney, best known for her work on “Euphoria” will be sitting front row, just a few seats away from Catherine Zeta-Jones. Both actresses will be presenting awards, possibly explaining their seating placement.
GettyIn another section of the Peacock theater, a photo show Selena Gomez sitting front row, with her “Only Murders In The Building” costars Steve Martin and Martin Short sitting two rows behind her. The three aisle seats behind Martin and Short will seat Julianne Nicholson, Jean Smart, and Hannah Einbinder, all from “Hacks.”
Interestingly, two photos have Nicholson sitting in two different places. One shows her sitting in the middle of a row near S. Epatha Merkerson, while the second image has her in an aisle seat near her fellow “Hacks” women. Nicholson already won a Creative Arts Emmy Award this year for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.
GettyElsewhere, Adam Scott will sit front row, surrounded by his “Severance” costars. Scott has been nominated for two Emmy Awards this year, one for his performance as lead actor, and one for the show itself, of which he is a producer.
The Seating Chart Has Some Mistakes
Thanks to a video from Hollywood Reporter‘s Instagram, we know there’s at least one small mistake in the Emmy’s seating chart. “The Studio” creator Seth Rogen commented on the post to say his name had been spelled wrong. Sure enough, his place card reads “Seth Rogan,” an incorrect spelling of his last name.
This year, Rogen was nominated for four Emmy Awards thanks to his AppleTV+ comedy, “The Studio.” Rogen is up for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. The show has already won nine Creative Arts Emmy Awards and was nominated for a total of seven Primetime Emmy Awards.
