Hollywood icon Goldie Hawn, 80, is proudly sending one of her grandchildren off to college.
After starting her blended family with her long-time partner, Kurt Russell, the pair have four children and eight grandchildren between them. They’re incredibly active in their family’s every day lives. Sending a grandchild off to college certainly came with strong emotions, but they couldn’t be prouder.

Goldie Hawn’s Grandson, Wilder, Begins His Freshman Year
Goldie Hawn’s grandson, Wilder, is headed off to college. Wilder is the oldest child of Oliver Hudson and his wife, Erinn.
“This little guy turned 19 yesterday and we moved him into college last week🤯😭” Erinn Bartlett Hudson shared on Instagram recently. “Lots of tears not gonna lie wow….. but so happy and proud and excited for you Wildman!! Couldn’t love you more and counting the days til I can hug you and annoy you again🤗”
The first photo featured a photo of Wilder as a small child. Erinn attached several from the family’s summer trip to Greece this year. After that, she included images of Wilder moving into his first college dorm. They went above and beyond to ensure that his space was incredibly stylish and comfortable.
Even though it’s an emotional time for the family, it looks like Wilder will have an amazing time during his freshman year.

Over the summer, the entire family jetted off to Greece for quality time and to soak up everything the beautiful country had to offer. Goldie Hawn shared a rare Instagram update, doting on “her boys.”
“Me and my boys! Greece heaven 💙🤍,” the Hollywood legend captioned the photo. Her grandsons, Wilder, Bodhi, and Bingham, beam from ear to ear in the photo.
In the comments, many fans remarked what a beautiful family Goldie Hawn had. Above all else, family is one of the most important things to the actress.
“It’s great, and it’s a joy to watch them,” she told Good Housekeeping about watching her family grow. “I have great children, and they’re incredible parents. I love seeing them with my grandchildren, and I think the lessons they’re learning are putting them in a good direction.”
The 80-year-old strives to play an active role in each of her grandchildren’s lives.
“The way that I am in life with my grandchildren is a lesson in and of itself,” Goldie told the publication. “The kids are amazing, and I’m enjoying watching them grow into incredible individuals. And that all starts with their parents.”
