Jack Schlossberg Shares Tribute to Sister Tatiana

The Congressional hopeful, 32, took to social media on Monday, January 5, to share a tribute to his late sister, using her own words.

“It’s up to us to create a country that takes seriously its obligations to the planet, to each other, and to the people who will be born into a world that looks different than ours has for the last 10,000 years or so,” the post, which was shared via Instagram, began.

“Essentially, what I’m describing is hard work with possibly limited success for the rest of your life. But we have to do it, and at least we will have the satisfaction of knowing we made things better…Come on, it will be fun (?),” Schlossberg concluded, in an excerpt from her 2019 book, “Inconspicuous Consumption.”

Jack simply captioned the post with a pink flower.

“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts,” the announcement read. The post was igned by her husband, George Moran, their children Edwin and Josephine, as well as her parents, Ed Schlossberg and Caroline Kennedy, and siblings, Jack and Rose Schlossberg.

The mother of two announced she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a terminal cancer, in November 2025.

“I did not — could not — believe that they were talking about me,” she wrote of receiving her diagnosis, in an essay published in The New Yorker. “I had swum a mile in the pool the day before, nine months pregnant. I wasn’t sick. I didn’t feel sick. I was actually one of the healthiest people I knew.”

Doctors reportedly discovered her disease after she gave birth to her second child in May 2024.

Tatiana Schlossberg was 35 years old.
