On the night of Thursday, January 22, news broke that Jaime King’s second husband, Austin Sosa, had filed for divorce. King is best known for playing Lemon Breeland on the CW drama “Hart of Dixie,” on which she starred with Rachel Bilson.
This news came as a shock to King’s fans because they and the public did not even know the pair had gotten married. King announced she and Sosa were engaged in July 2025, and People says a source told them around that time, “She is very close with his family and was staying with his parents after she moved out of her Los Angeles apartment earlier this year.” The source went on to say the actres was “especially happy to share this moment with her children, who have a loving bond with Austin and his family.”
Sosa is a rather low-key individual with not many photos on the internet and a private Instagram account.
King’s first husband was film director Kyle Newman, to whom she was married from 2007 to 2023. King and Newman share two boys.

According to another quote from the story, King’s husband never mentioned his plans to file for divorce, despite seeing her the day before he did it. “I was with Austin the night before it became public, and while like many marriages we had normal challenges, I genuinely believed we were working on our relationship,” the report says she revealed.
The outlet also says she denied rumors that her recent meetings with hotelier Vikram Chatwal were “dates.” Page Six says she stated, “Any recent interactions being referenced publicly were strictly professional business meetings and have no connection to this private matter.”
Along with being a hotelier, Chatwal is a socialite who has been seen hanging with lots of celebs including Lindsay Lohan, Katie Holmes, Uma Thurman, Kim Kardashian, and others.

King previously talked about Sosa in the fall of 2025, confirming she was engaged on Heather McDonald’s “Juicy Scoop” podcast and saying, “We met through mutual friends. It is exciting.”
