Jennifer Aniston is saying goodbye to Alex Levy.
The actress shared an emotional behind-the-scenes look at the final season of “The Morning Show” on Saturday, Aug. 8, as production on the Apple TV+ series officially wrapped.
Aniston Shares Some of the Last Moments from Filming ‘The Morning Show’
Aniston posted a carousel of photos and videos on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse at some of the final moments with her cast and crew.
“That might be a wrap but it’s never goodbye ❤️😘🎬🌅🎥” she captioned the post.
One of the videos showed Aniston alongside Reese Witherspoon, who co-stars as Bradley Jackson, as the pair pointed toward a plaque commemorating the series. The sign read “The Morning Show 2018-2026.”
Other clips offered a behind-the-scenes look at the production set, while another photo showed Aniston posing with members of the crew who helped bring the series to life.
The emotional moments continued as Aniston was seen hugging Reneé Rapp, who is joining the cast for Season 5 as Samantha.
Fans Can’t Get Enough of the Look Into Filming
The carousel featured several other cast and crew interactions, with hugs appearing throughout as the longtime production came to an end.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with emotional reactions to the wrap.
“Legit going to be feral already and now that Renee is on?!?! Gonna go insane omg,” one fan wrote.
Another reflected on how much the series has meant to them, writing, “The Morning Show got me through so much, Covid, having both my babies, all of it. Thank you for pouring yourself into this show and giving us storytelling and acting that actually meant something. Going to miss Alex Levy so much.”
“This is what makes Jennifer Aniston one of the only Hollywood legends, her generous hart. Her humbleness is so genuine! And obviously, her acting is phenomenal!” another person commented.
“You all are an incredible team! Can’t wait to season 5! I bet is gonna be another perfect season,” a fan added.
Another viewer wrote, “Saying goodbye to The Morning Show hurts so much.”
The series, which premiered in 2019, follows the personal and professional lives of employees at a fictional morning news program.
Aniston and Witherspoon both star in and executive produce the series, with Aniston portraying longtime anchor Alex Levy.
For Aniston, the final days of filming appear to have been especially meaningful after years spent portraying Alex and working alongside the same cast and crew.
One fan summed up the sentiment shared by many viewers, writing, “Thank you for sharing your story with us. It makes us feel we are a small part of your life…even though we are not.”
Another added, “My heart isn’t ready for this goodbye.”
“Phenomenal! So much love, respect, hard work! Wonderful!” someone else noted.
While production may be finished, fans still have one more season to look forward to. The fifth and final season of “The Morning Show” is set to premiere in 2027, bringing Aniston’s run as Alex Levy to an end.
