A-lister Kate Hudson and her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, couldn’t be happier. But after a five-year engagement, they still haven’t tied the knot.
The pair began their romantic relationship in 2016. His stepsisters, Sara and Erin Foster, are two of Hudson’s closest friends. The happy couple went on to welcome their daughter, Rani Rose, in 2018. Fujikawa proposed in 2021, which Hudson gleefully accepted.
However, an official wedding still has yet to take place.
During a recent episode of “Sibling Revelry,” Hudson opened up about the difficulties of wedding planning and why they haven’t made much progress yet.
Kate Hudson & Danny Fujikawa Are Still in the Early Stages of Wedding Planning
“Sibling Revelry” gives listeners a glimpse into the lives of Kate and Oliver Hudson. The siblings are the children of Goldie Hawn and her ex-husband, Bill Hudson.
Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn began their own romantic relationship in 1983, though they also remain unmarried to this day. Oliver and Kate happily accept Russell as their stepfather and have made many wonderful memories together as a family.
But like her mother, Kate Hudson isn’t in any hurry to remarry. In a clip from “Sibling Revelry,” the “Fool’s Gold” star discussed what truly gets in the way.
Getty“I’m still not married, I’m just engaged, and I keep thinking about ‘wedding,’ you know, like what are we going to do? And every time we start thinking about who we have to invite, Danny’s like, ‘I just want a small wedding.’ I’m like, ‘Our family alone is like, 50 people,'” the actress shared.
Hudson went on to explain that her family is huge, with her brother nodding in agreement. Both Kate and Oliver each have three children. They have several siblings from their blended family, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and more.
The Family Enjoyed Plenty of Quality Time Together This Summer
While wedding bells won’t be ringing anytime soon, Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa seem to thoroughly enjoy the life they’ve built together.
This summer, the extended family vacationed on the Greek coast. Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, and several other family members shared stunning photos of the family on the water, enjoying dinner, and other holiday activities.
In one series of photos, Hudson shared an image of herself and Fujikawa, kissing in an intimate embrace. Whether they ultimately marry or remain engaged, fans can see there’s plenty of love in their home.
The “Bride Wars” star spent plenty of quality time with her seven-year-old daughter, Rani Rose, on a trip to Great Britain. Fans couldn’t help but notice how much the pair resembled one another.
Rani Rose seems incredibly close to both her parents. In another photo set, the little girl throws her arms around Danny Fujikawa’s neck, beaming from ear to ear. Without a doubt, it was a summer to remember.
Fans wish Kate Hudson and her family a lifetime of happiness in every season of life.
