Fans of “Twilight” will remember the dashingly handsome Emmett Cullen from the films, played by actor Kellan Lutz. His mischievous eyes, short haircut and smile that melted the hearts of millions were so distinct and recognizable in his youth. However, today Kellan looks completely different and even has a beard!

Kellan sat down in front of a laptop to give a long distance interview on the ‘Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum’ podcast. Sitting in a pretty wooden cabin-like building with a fireplace in the back, deerantlers on the wall and what appears to be a Christmas tree in the corner, Kellan chatted to the camera about how he felt he slightly lost himself after the fame of “Twilight”.
He looked incredibly different from his days on the film, rocking a moustache, and full facial hair including a beard and hair growing up the sides of his face. Though his eyes have very much remained the same, and could undoubtedly still make a fan of the “Twilight” franchise swoon.
Fans praised Kellan for his openness and flooded the comments section of the podcast with positive remarks about his acting. One user said: “Kellan is a fantastic actor.”
A second shared: “Very sincere, brings the positivity. Looking forward to the next time you have him back! Cheers on the great episode!”
Meanwhile others added: “I didn’t watch Twilight but l loved being introduced to Kellan. I’m an instant fan!,” “I want this man to teach a class,” and “I know Kellan, mainly from Twilight. What a moving and profound exchange between the two of you, you bared your emotions, it was deeply moving.”

Kellan played the coveted role of Emmett Cullen in the “Twilight” films. Emmett is a hunky vampire and the adopted brother of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), who featured across all five of the movies between 2008 and 2012.
Kellan went on to win multiple Teen Choice Awards for his part in the films including Choice Movie: Male Scene Stealer in both 2010 and 2011, and Choice Movie: Scene Stealer for “The Twilight Saga:Breaking Dawn – Part 2” in 2013.
Other films Kellan has featured in include “The Legend of Hercules” (2014) playing the role of Hercules, “The Expendables 3” (2014) playing the role of John Smilee, “Immortals” (2011) playing the role of Poseidon, “Tarzan” (2013) playing the voice role of Tarzan himself, “Extraction” playing character Frank Crosby, and “Come Out Fighting” (2022) starring as Harry Turner.
In terms of appearances on TV, Kellan has appeared in many shows including “FBI: Most Wanted” (2020-2021), “FBI” (2020), “90210 (2008-2009), “Generation Kill” (2008) and “The Comeback” (2005 and 2014).
Recent’y he’s been working on independent film projects such as his feature in action thriller “Desert Dawn”, appearing at conventions, and focusing on spending time with his family in Tennessee. He also recently made a brief appearance in season two of the show “Blue Ridge”. I’m looking forward to seeing what Kellan gets up to next!
