The happy news comes just one year after the couple welcomed their daughter, Ke’ala Coral. The news was subtly revealed by Jarah’s social media post and later confirmed by People magazine.

Jarah Mariano Reveals Baby Bump on Daughter’s First Birthday

Mariano revealed the pregnancy during an emotional moment tied to her daughter’s first birthday. On Saturday, January 24, the model marked the milestone with a heartfelt Instagram post that also subtly confirmed she is expecting again.

The image captured Mariano holding Ke’ala Coral in a brown bikini, with her baby bump on full display. She captioned the photo simply, “Happy 1 year baby girl.”

“When you came into my life I had 2 distinct thoughts, one immediately after the other — I would die for you in a heartbeat, but now I also have to live as long as I possibly can to be around to make sure you’re safe.”

She continued with a deeply personal message, writing,

“This is the most unique love I’ve ever experienced, just as unique of a soul you are. In a world with so much fear and hatred, I know that you will bring your radiating light everywhere you go to make it a better and brighter place for those around you. I love you Ke’ala Coral, forever x Mama.”

Welcoming Their First Child After Losing Their Home

The pregnancy news follows a year shaped by both heartbreak and resilience for the couple. Ventimiglia, 48, and Mariano welcomed their daughter, Ke’ala Coral, in January 2025, just weeks after losing their home in the devastating Los Angeles fires.

“Houseless, never homeless,” Mariano wrote on January 21, 2025, alongside a photo showing their newborn’s legs next to the paw of their dog. “Welcome back Ke’ala Coral Ventimiglia 🌈 1.23.25.”

Mariano later revealed that her family was forced to evacuate during the Palisades Fire, losing their home and “everything we own.”

The house they were preparing to move into was also destroyed while still under construction.

“I was 38 weeks pregnant & I had done an evacuation only a few weeks prior during the Franklin Fire as well,” she explained. “I take it as a gift that I was able to essentially do a practice run for what was inevitably to come.”

Despite the loss, Mariano emphasized what mattered most, adding, “My family & I are together, happy, healthy & safe, which is truly all that matters.”

Finding Hope After Loss & Displacement

In the wake of upheaval and loss, Mariano also made space for gratitude. She publicly thanked the firefighters, first responders, and support teams who helped families navigate the devastating aftermath of the fires.

“We are deeply grateful to all of the heroes who help battle fires, as well as care for everyone affected by the aftermath for years to come,” she wrote.

“This will be an extended process of rebuilding and grieving for many, but we are feeling optimistic & inspired to welcome all of the exciting newness of our fresh start!”

Following the birth of Ke’ala Coral, Mariano also expressed appreciation for the friends, family members, medical teams, and community who surrounded her and Ventimiglia during their earliest days as parents.

“Gentle reminder to all, to please allow us this time & space to nest with our newborn in such a delicate phase,” she concluded. “We already have everything we need in abundance & will be back around with updates in our own time.”

As they look ahead to welcoming another child, Ventimiglia and Mariano are entering this next chapter grounded in hard-earned perspective, carrying both loss and love into the life they are building.
