Additional images have been reportedly recovered from Nancy Guthrie’s surveillance cameras more than a month after her disappearance.
A source told ABC News that the FBI was able to retrieve “thumbnail” images captured by motion-activated cameras. However, no video footage was obtained.
These cameras were reportedly on three locations outside of Nancy’s home- the swimming pool, backyard, and side yard.

The outlet added that these cameras captured people in the back and side yards over an unspecified period before Nancy Guthrie’s abduction.
There were also pictures of law enforcement officers near the pool after she went missing. Other than that, the cameras recorded nothing suspicious at the time, the source noted.
Interestingly, the motion-sensor cameras captured nothing on the night of the abduction, ABC News reported.
Investigators have reportedly drawn no conclusions as to why, with one source calling it “odd.”

Meanwhile, News Nation’s Brian Entin noted that some of Nancy’s neighbors told him there had been issues with their internet connection and Ring cameras around the same time of Nancy’s abduction.
Last week, investigators went door to door and asked Nancy’s neighbors if they had noticed any disruptions or issues with their internet service the night that Nancy went missing, NBC News reported.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said (via News Nation) on Friday that it “continues to analyze various forms of evidence in the Nancy Guthrie case, including material from laboratories as well as images and videos captured by cameras.”
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos Thinks Suspect Could Strike Again
Meanwhile, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in an interview that he believes the kidnapper could strike again.
Speaking with “NBC Nightly News,” Nanos reiterated that Nancy Guthrie’s abductor remains a danger to the community, adding that it’d be “silly” to tell the public not to worry.
“Don’t think for a minute that because it happened to the Guthrie family, you’re safe. No, keep your wits about you,” Nanos said.
Nanos also said he has an idea of the motive behind Nancy’s abduction, but did not share it publicly.
“We believe that it was targeted, but we can’t — we’re not 100% sure of that,” he added. “And so it would be silly to tell people, ‘Yea don’t worry about it. You’re not his target.’ No, you could be.”
I’ve been reading about this case, I don’t know the family and my heart and prayers go out to them, I can’t imagine not knowing we’re my mom is, and wondering if she is ok, especially since she has health issues. Somewhere, in the back of my mind I think when everything is sorted out, they are gonna find out that someone from their own family has something to do with the lady missing. It’s a shame to think this way, but in this day and time, you can’t underestimate anyone. Something also tells me that the sister and her husband may either have something to do with it, or they know more than their saying or not saying. Money can make ppl do some very evil stuff. And family members can’t be excluded. Ijs.

Yes, I know they are having difficulty cracking the case, but people right under their noses would have been arrested by now.
It’s frustrating to not have more answers, but blaming family members just because there are no other leads is wrong. You owe them an apology!

your right this family is really going through something that no one would ever want to go through that was unfair of her to say that and they have already excluded family members the truth will come out eventually with all our prayers for the family God will hear us and something will come out my heart goes out to the family and I will continue praying for for Nancy and I hope she is still alive but if she’s not at least give this family some closer they at least deserve that much whoever did this is probably scared but please if you have a heart or any kind of sense please stop thinking about yourself and turn yourself in and tell this poor family what happened to there mom they don’t deserve any of this just for having money that’s just not right and Nancy deserves to be put to rest if she is gone just continue praying for this family and for whoever took her that they snap and give themselves up please for God’s sake turn yourself in already this family has suffered enough
Did you not see the sister with a creepy grin moments before they went on air? Almost as if she was a kid giddy she was going on TV. I’m not the only one that noticed it.
