The romantic comedy “Leap Year” had its New York City premiere 16 years ago on January 6, 2010. Its United States release date came two days later on January 8.
Anand Tucker’s movie stars Amy Adams as a Boston real estate stager who decides to travel to Dublin, Ireland, to propose to her boyfriend on leap day, as the Irish tradition “Bachelor’s Day” allows.
Adam Scott plays her undeserving boyfriend, while Matthew Goode plays the nicer man she ultimately falls for.
The film received generally unfavorable reviews, but isn’t without its charms โ the Academy Award-nominated Adams, for instance, is as fantastic as ever, and there are a few moments guaranteed to at least raise a smile in viewers.

Suffice it to say, the core cast of “Leap Year” are all looking great โ and that’s undoubtedly fantastic to see. After reading this, it might be worth you revisiting the movie, as it was given a hard time by critics upon its release. It really isn’t that bad!

You mention Adam Scott’s credits, but you gave Krampus and Madame Webb over Big Little Lies and Severance? Certainly a choice LOL
The credits are movies only, as the piece is about him appearing in a movie, so it fits the category/theme.
