Actress Sydney Sweeney is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood right now. The 28-year-old beauty is consistently making headlines and is rarely out of the limelight.

Trent Sweeney Is Sydney Sweeney’s Only Sibling
Per People, Trent Sweeney is Sydney Sweeney’s only sibling.
The pair were brought up by their parents, Lisa (a former criminal defense attorney) and Steven (a hospitality worker), just outside of Spokane, Washington, near the Idaho border.
According to local publication The Spokesman-Review, Sydney has explained that, during her and Trent’s childhood, the family spent a lot of time in the South Hill neighborhood and at their nearby lake house.
He’s a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force
Sydney is very proud of Trent — and with good reason.
He serves in the United States Air Force and completed basic training in 2020.
In 2025, he was promoted to staff sergeant in the 48th Munitions Squadron. He shared the achievement on social media (in the post above).
Per Page Six, in a recent Instagram story, Sydney confirmed that Trent had been deployed overseas. She didn’t, however, confirm which country that deployment was in.
He’s Done a Little Bit of Acting
Despite ultimately taking a different path to his sister, Trent Sweeney has dipped his toe into the world of acting.
His credits include the 2007 drama “A Thousand Years of Good Prayers,” the 2009 comedy horror “ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction” (alongside Sydney), the 2010 comedy-drama “Norman,” the 2010 drama “Poppies: Odyssey of an Opium Eater,” the 2011 television commercial “Nintendo: Pre-battle Speech,” the 2013 short film “The Playful Coach,” and the 2014 short film “Generation Rx” (per IMDb).

Trent’s Instagram bio confirms he’s a Twitch streamer who goes by the username PeanutButterPaul.
The bio in his profile on the platform reads, “I play random games. That’s about it. Unless I am working or out of town, I’ll usually be streaming :).”
At the time of writing, Trent has 727 followers on Twitch. Games he has streamed himself playing on the platform include “Helldivers 2,” “Teamfight Tactics,” “Detroit: Become Human,” and “Fallout: New Vegas.”
