Maggie Sajak, daughter of “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak, just went Instagram official with a new man in her life.
In a social media update on April 21, Maggie Sajak revealed she’s in a relationship with Savannah Bananas baseball player Jackson Olson. Sajak is the social correspondent for “Wheel of Fortune” and has even filled in for Vanna White for a handful of episodes in 2020 and 2023. She’s been familiar on the show since she was a toddler – and she even dabbled in country music, releasing her own song “First Kiss” in 2012.

Savannah Bananas infielder Jackson Olson is 28-years-old and loves entertaining crowds on the field and on social media. Now, it seems he’s found love as well.
“Applications closed✅” Jackson posted on Instagram, referencing jokes he previously made about accepting applications for romantic partners. In the photo, he and Maggie pose sweetly in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World in Orlando.
In the comments, fans left congratulatory words for the happy couple.
“Obsessed with this hard launch 😍” one excited Instagram user wrote.
Who Is Jackson Olson?
As a child, Jackson Olson dreamed of playing in the MLB someday. However, things worked out a little differently for him.
The Arizona Diamondbacks tried to recruit Olson when he was still in college, but the pandemic upended things and shortened the MLB draft that year. He decided to keep his options open and made social media videos, which eventually attracted the Bananas’ recruiting team.
“[Cole] reached out to me and was like, ‘Hey, come, play six games with us. Let’s see how you do.’ And now I’m here,” Olson told PEOPLE.
On Instagram, the baseball player described how happy he’d been lately. At the time, many suspected he was seeing someone. In hindsight, the timing of his hard launch with Maggie Sajak makes perfect sense to fans.
“I have been so happy the last couple months and everything feels so new and exciting for the first time in a long time,” Jackson Olson shared with fans on April 10. “My life is going to change a lot in the next year but in the best ways possible (yes there are a couple ways👀) and I can’t wait to share all of it with you soon. But for now I’m taking life day by day and enjoying every moment. I promise I’ll stop being so mysterious soon but you’re gonna have to wait a little while longer😉 Okay now I gotta go play baseball see ya guys later✌🏼”
Fans Want Jackson Olson for ‘Dancing With the Stars’ This Fall
Although Jackson Olson is most famous for his time with the Savannah Bananas, he might get to show off his dance skills if his followers have their way.
Ahead of “Dancing With the Stars” season 35, there’s been a lot of speculation about this year’s cast. Many have called for the show to cast a Savannah Bananas player, preferably Olson. The 28-year-old joined Derek and Hayley Hough on the field for an exhilarating performance during one Bananas game.
If DWTS does cast Olson this fall, many viewers would love to see Sajak in the audience, cheering him on.
Maggie Sajak Had a Previous Relationship With Actor Ross McCall

Us Weekly published photos of the couple holding hands and kissing during a walk in Los Angeles at the time, reporting that they had been “flirty” in each others’ social media comments since at least February that year.
Us Weekly reported that Sajak and McCall were “making headlines” in part because of a 19-year age gap – Sajak was 29 at the time, while McCall was 48. The couple kept their relationship largely private, E! News reported in September 2024.
