Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has concluded, with the third part of the reunion recently airing. Now, in a new interview, RHOBH newbie Amanda Frances is opening up about why she initially dreaded sitting down with the ladies and Andy Cohen to discuss the season.
Amanda Frances Wasn’t Looking Forward to The RHOBH Reunion
BravoFrances appeared on “The Everygirl Podcast” in May 2026. While on, she not only discussed her overall career, but also shared why she initially dreaded the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 15 reunion and how that ultimately changed.
When asked to describe the reunion, she said, “Not as bad as I thought.” Frances continued, “I was really dreading it. Something about being on that soundstage for 14 hours really had me like anticipating the worst.”
Regarding why the reunion “wasn’t so bad,” Frances credited “adrenaline,” noting, “You’re correcting things. You’re saying what you wanna say. There’s the energy in the adrenaline of the day.” After that, she highlighted “what it really was.”
According to her, “Here’s probably what it really was. People kind of came at me in ways they had previously came at me, but I knew what that felt like now. I knew what that was now.” She went on to discuss the experience of filming and how the same tactics her castmates used at the reunion previously “overwhelmed” her.
She then said, “You’re used to it. You know it’s not personal, and you can kind of just be like, ‘Okay, wait, so what words are they saying to me?'”
Fans Say Amanda Has Grown on Them
Fans on social media reacted to what Frances had to say about the RHOBH reunion. Notably, many agree that by the end of the season, they had become her fans. One person said, “Amanda did really well. Proud of her. Can’t wait to see her back next season, and she was vindicated on multiple fronts after the reunion.”
Someone else said, “She’s a smart cookie, she fits the RHOBH cast well, and they need to keep her around.” Lastly, another fan recognized a favorable pattern with her wardrobe, writing, “She’s not afraid to drape a jacket.”
The ‘Housewives’ Star Recently Opened Up About Criticism She’s Faced
GettyFrances has received significant criticism from both fans and some of her costars. This was especially true early on, before viewers came to appreciate her more. In March 2026, she spoke to PEOPLE and responded to those who wondered whether she was right for the show.
Frances said, “They’d be fighting, and I’d be like, ‘Do I have anything meaningful to say here?’ And also, ‘Do I have anything meaningful to say that they can receive?'”
She continued, “Because I’m not in the environment I’m used to, where everyone in my world is so into personal development, and we’re all wanting to learn and grow from one another. So it’s like, if it’s going to fall on deaf ears, should I even open my mouth right now? So I don’t think they liked that.”
The RHOBH newbie also discussed how she felt about her costars mentioning her past with the cult. Frances explained, “It’s something I’m always open to talking about. What was weird was it wasn’t like, ‘Hey, Amanda, this is so interesting. Tell me more.’ It was like they were coming at it like it was dirt instead of like it was something that I’ve always talked about for 18 years.”
She added, “It felt like, ‘We are determined to dig up dirt on you, and then when there’s no dirt to be found, we’re just going to not believe anything you say.'”
