RHOBH Star Receives Outpouring of Support Following Heartbreaking On-Camera Moment

Amanda Frances shared a heartbreaking personal story on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. On the Jan. 22 episode of the Bravo reality show, the self-made “money queen” and life coach marked the anniversary of the death of her newborn twin son, Zion, whom she welcomed with her fiancé, Eddie Tsivislavsky, in 2022. But the moment was interrupted with typical Housewives drama from cast members who didn’t realize what Frances was going through.

In a post shared to Instagram immediately following the episode, Frances described the emotional day, writing, “Tonight’s episode of RHOBH was filmed on a very tender day for me — the anniversary of my son Zion’s death. 🩵👼An experience that changed me, forever.”

The Bravo newcomer added that in honor of her late son, Zion Chase Tsivislavsky, she would donate half of the proceeds from an upcoming vision board event to Miracle Babies, an organization that supports families with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Frances also made it clear that she would not tolerate any negative comments about the episode. “Given the significance of this loss, this space will remain free of negative commentary about anyone involved in this episode,” she wrote. “Conversations of that nature do not belong here.”

After the RHOBH episode aired on Bravo, Frances received an outpouring of love and support from fans on social media.

“Sending so much love. Your heart and strength and grace continue to inspire,” one commenter wrote.

“Sending so much love to you, Eddie, the kids and other families dealing with loss and grief,” added another.

“Bundling up all the love you pour out to us every day and sending it back to you. May comfort and support be in all things all the time as we hold space for Zion,” a third commenter wrote.

“Sending massive love. I’m inspired by the way you carried yourself (just finished watching). I cried like a baby. So glad you chose you and took care of you,” another fan added.

Others said they were excited for Frances’s vision board event and happy that it would contribute to such an important cause.

Frances previously announced the Jan. 23 event on her website, describing it as a “live vibe-full Vision Board Party” that will help attendees learn to “manifest intentionally and on purpose.”

Frances shared details on her devastating loss during the RHOBH Season 15 episode “Star Signs and Bad Times.” The episode featured the ladies gathered at Rachel Zoe’s house for a psychic soirée. The dinner party scene was filmed on the anniversary of the day that Frances lost her premature son five days after his arrival with twin, Canaan.  Frances revealed that Canaan spent 68 days in the NICU, but that Zion died in her arms the first time she ever held him.

“Every year, it’s the most joyful and sad week,” Frances said of the days after her twins’ birth. “I can’t think of everything Canaan overcame to be a 3-year-old, without thinking of Zion not making it. It’s just all in the week.”

In a confessional, Frances revealed she agreed to go to the dinner party, which featured a tarot card reader, as a “distraction” during the difficult week. Kyle Richards was the only RHOBH cast member who knew that the date coincided with the anniversary of Frances’s son’s death.

After Dorit Kemsley confronted her over comments she had made about her ex-husband, Frances broke down. “Can I be really honest? Zion died three years ago today, and I’m holding on by a thread,” she said. “I’m telling you guys this is a hard day for me. He died. My kid died.”

Frances ultimately left the dinner party to go home to her fiancé. “I’m gonna go be with Eddie. I just want to hold him and cry and talk about what today is,” she said.

Kemsley revealed she had “no idea” about what Frances was going through that day and “would never have said anything to her” if she had known. She later tried to apologize to Frances, but Frances remained upset and left the party.

Months after filming the episode, Frances hinted that things are still difficult between her and Kemsley.

“For me, an apology and hearing about what was going on for her and where she was in her divorce situation, and me explaining what it was to have twins and lose a child … it could have been a get to know each other moment,” she told Us Weekly in January 2026. “It could have been bonding. We could have repaired. We could have recovered.”

“Viewers will see me in future episodes, try very hard to just sit down with her and work it out,” the RHOBH star added.

  1. Well that’s Dorit. Self centered, spoiled and unfiltered lips. I have not seen the show yet. The rest of your fans and viewers empathize with your loss, but marvel at your strength and generosity.

  2. Poor Dorit……not. She is such a shit starter..she is an entitled bitch. Always complaining about needing money but yet she spends it like it’s going out of style.

Kyle would be much better off without her (friendship).

  3. One NEVER gets over the loss of a child be it a miscarriage early or late term, stillborn or the death of a live born child. Give the woman some GRACE. Dorit is ALWAYS about Dorit and HER OWN children! Can she NOT see how others see her?!
