Andy Cohen Gives Final Verdict on Jen Shah Returning to Bravo

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” is having a real moment in pop culture. Now, one of its founding cast members, Jen Shah, is set to be released from prison after reporting in February 2023. Recently, Andy Cohen expounded on his previous thoughts about her returning to the show.

The Bravo host responded to the news of Shah’s early release during a November 2025 episode of his Andy Cohen Live SiriusXM radio show. He began, “I just wanna say once again for anyone who is asking. I think I’ve said this before… She’s not coming back to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She’s not.”

Cohen continued, “So, I wish her all the best in her next life.” He then discussed her future in entertainment. According to Cohen, “I would assume she’ll wind up on a reality show of some kind, but [it] won’t be anything that I’m working on. I can’t- I don’t know that I could see Bravo working with her again, so there you go.”

From there, Cohen went on to give “kudos” to the current cast of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.” Specifically, he noted how the cast has “thrived” in the years since Shah went to prison.

Shah Will Be Released in December 2025

Shah pleaded guilty in 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud for her role in a telemarketing scheme. Initially, the former “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star was supposed to be behind bars until 2029. However, the court continued to amend her sentence.

Finally, PEOPLE reported on November 21, 2025, that Shah would be released from prison on December 10. Upon her release, Shah will have served 33 months of her sentence. Her manager, Chris Giovanni, spoke to the outlet about her release.

Giovanni said, “Everyone’s very grateful for the BOP’s decision, especially because it means Jen will be able to reunite with her family for the holidays. It’s a gift she doesn’t take for granted.”

He then said, “Jen’s in a really positive, hopeful place mentally. She’s done a lot of reflecting and real growth during her time away, and is genuinely not the same woman as she was before. Her focus is on her family and building a healthier, more grounded life. She understands the seriousness of the mistakes she made and is excited to put this chapter behind her so that she can show everyone the woman she’s worked hard to become.”

Cohen Recently Praised ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Many “Housewives” fans agree that RHOSLC is one of the best editions to the franchise in quite some time. This is so much the case that A-list celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence have weighed in on the show.

Recently, Cohen praised season six of the show. Per Bravo, he said, “I have to say, this upcoming episode of Salt Lake City is one of my favorite, recent, full episodes of the Housewives because there’s a lot of sisterhood, and there’s a lot of joy, and there’s a lot of coming together, but there’s also a lot of kind of personal drama and kind of shocking moments.”

He continued, “And, so, I think it kind of encapsulates what the whole series is meant to be.”
