Many fans of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” were delighted to learn that Karen Huger had scored an early release from jail. Now, many are wondering how soon should could appear on the show. Andy Cohen recently gave a brief update on Huger, who many fans know as “The Grande Dame.”
Cohen was recently out and about when TMZ caught up with him. The interviewer asked, “Karen is out of jail? Have you spoken to Karen?” The “Watch What Happens Live” host said, “We have texted and I will be speaking to her imminently.”
The interviewer then asked how Huger has been doing. Cohen replied, “I will let you know after I speak with her.” When asked if she’s returning to “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” he said, “I hope so.”

Huger Became a Free Woman in September
The Jasmine Brand reported on August 26 that Huger had received an early prison release and was scheduled to be released on September 2. Fast-forward to that date, and the report proved to be true as the “Real Housewives of Potomac” star was seen leaving a facility in Maryland.
As fans know, Huger was found guilty on multiple charges related to her March 2024 accident, in which she was found to have been under the influence. Notably, this was her fourth DUI-related offense. She was sentenced to two years, with one year suspended, in February 2025. The RHOP star reported to the facility the same month.
In total, she served six months in jail. Following her release, she will be unable to drive for a year. Huger also has a $2,900 fine and will serve five years of probation. Regarding her release, it has been said that the Bravo production crew was among the many media outlets on the scene to capture the “Housewives” star.
‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ Season 10 Will Premiere in October
Bravo released the first trailer for season 10 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” in August. It features all the ladies from season 9, except Mia Thornton. Additionally, there are two new ladies in the cast. They are Tia Glover and Angel Massie. There’s also a brief cameo from Mauricio Umansky in the show’s trailer.
Still, despite the trailer being out, there is time for Huger to make an appearance. This is the case even if it’s only footage of her being released from jail. “The Real Housewives of Potomac” returns to Bravo on October 5.
