Fans React as K. Michelle Speaks on Feud With Drew Sidora

K. Michelle is joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 17. Along with the glamourous fashion and luxurious trips, the franchise is widely known for its messy moments.

The trailer for the upcoming season previews one of these moments between singers Drew Sidora and K. Michelle. And K is setting the record straight that their feud is NOT about music.

K. Michelle Addresses Feud With Drew Sidora on ‘SHERRI’

A few of the cast members including Angela Oakley, K. Michelle, and Phaedra Parks were guests on today’s episode of Sherri Shepherd’s daytime show, ‘SHERRI.’ K. Michelle’s response to questions about the tensions with her castmate left host Sherri Shepherd floored… literally!

When asked why she can’t get along with Drew Sidora, the singer responded, “I can’t say a lot, but I can say it’s not for what people think it is or for what she would hope it would be about.” She then added that [Drew] would hope that their feud is about music. She said,

“I don’t fight about music when something doesn’t compare.” Sherri hilariously dropped to the floor in shock at K. Michelle’s candor. While Oakley attempted to stick up for her fellow Chicago native, Parks simply chuckled along with Sherri Shepherd.

The Trailer That Sparked The Tension

Following the release of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 17 trailer, cast members had a lot to say about what was to come during the season. In the RHOA Season 17 feud, Drew Sidora fired back at K. Michelle for calling her the “Lying King” in the trailer, saying in an Instagram comment,

“If I’m the Lying King, you just a yodeling hoot! Making noise for attention, no power, no truth”. K. Michelle had previously labeled her this, marking an intense, early confrontation for the new season.

“This is so nostalgic! I remember Season 4 era with Phaedra, Kandi & Sheree going in Wendy Williams show to promote before the season! RHOA WE ARE BACK!!!”

“I looovvvveeee K. Really excited to see how she does in this cast mix”

“if bravo was smart they would bring K back again for a 2ns season and bring nene back!!!! 2 strong personalities – just like it was with Kenya!!! Def would boost ratings!!!”

As conversations continue, it remains to be seen whether the tension between K. Michelle and Drew Sidora will be resolved or addressed further. But according to Angela Oakley it’s something we “won’t want to miss.” Season 17 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” premieres on Bravo Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET.
