Fans of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York City” have had an exciting 2026 so far, as E! has announced “The Golden Life,” an offshoot featuring several former RHONY stars. Now, as filming is rumored to have begun, Luann de Lesseps has posted behind-the-scenes footage.
de Lesseps and E! Entertainment posted the video on their official social media channels on March 17. It features the cast, Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Kelly Bensimon dancing on a yacht.
The former RHONY star captioned the post, “We got THE YACHT.”
Luann de Lesseps Recently Opened Up About The RHONY Offshoot
GettyDe Lesseps joined “The Real Housewives of New York City” for its first season in 2008. Her last time appearing on the show was in season 13, before the reboot. Since then, she has spoken openly about her desire to return to RHONY in some form.
In February 2026, after filming “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th,” de Lesseps spoke to Pedestrian TV. Regarding “The Golden Life” and how it felt to get the call to do it, she said, “Oh my God, I mean, it just felt like finally, somebody wants me!”
She continued, “I feel so blessed. We’re going to get some time with Sonja-rita, we’re going to have some time with ‘crazy eyes’ Ramona [Singer], who has become, I’ve got to say, much more of a pussycat these days.”
She went on, “I just saw that she saw Bethenny [Frankel]… did you see that the other day? Bethenny and Sonja… did you see how happy she was? That girl, she was just right? I’m like, ‘What is she doing?’ She was just grinning from ear to ear, just so happy to see the girls. Makes me a little nervous.”
The RHONY album went on, “Oh, and Kelly [Bensimon], we’re going to see Kelly and what’s going on with the jelly beans. And Dorinda was just announced! I’m thrilled about Dorinda. I’m so happy she’s coming along for the ride because I think she’s a really integral part of the cast.”
Dorinda Medley Also Shared an Update
Prior to De Lesseps’ update on “The Golden Life,” fellow RHONY alum Dorinda Medley opened up to fans about the status of the show. She said on her “Reality Checked” radio show in early March 2026, “Speaking of Florida, we had one of our big production meetings yesterday. It was the first one for this new show.”
She continued, “And I have to say, I haven’t really thought about it because I’ve been so sick and busy and running, and for the first time I was like, ‘My God, this is gonna be great.’ And some of the stuff they have planned and some of the people they’re having come on, I think it’s gonna be just- like I’m excited for the first time. Especially when you see all the names on it.”
