Kyle Richards revealed why her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, made a cameo in the “Real Housewives of Potomac” Season 10 trailer.
During an Amazon Livestream on Sept. 2, the veteran “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star was asked if she saw Umansky in the trailer, which dropped in late August.
“I did,” Richards replied, as her daughter, Alexia, asked, “What? Why is he in that?”
Richards explained, “He was walking…they were in Aspen, the girls from Potomac. And I actually got a…Gizelle [Bryant]] sent me a DM, ‘Oh we bumped into him.’ And he told me, and he was in the trailer.”
In July, TV Deets teased on X that the RHOP ladies were headed to a cast trip in Colorado.
Fans Were Surprised to see Mauricio Umansky in the RHOP Trailer
In the RHOP trailer, which was released by Bravo on Aug. 28, cast member Stacey Rusch is seen telling Bryant, “Everyone knows that you have a boyfriend.”
The scene with the dating conversation then segues to a shot of Umansky hugging Bryant. The Agency founder is wearing a cowboy hat in the scene, as are the RHOP cast members.
“Hey, Gizelle. How are you?” he says before hugging the RHOP star and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
“Good to see you,” she says.
Fans reacted in the comment section for the trailer on Bravo’s YouTube page.
“Girl, what Daddy Mauricio doing on there?? 😂😂😂😂,” one fan asked.
“Not Gizelle with Mauricio lol this season is MESSYY,” another wrote.
“I fell out when Mauricio showed up 😂😂😂,” another chimed in.
In addition to Bryant and Rusch, RHOP Season 10 stars Ashley Darby, Keiarna Stewart, Wendy Osefo, and newcomers Tia Glover and Angel Massie.
The new season premieres Sunday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
Mauricio Umansky Spends A Lot of Time at His Home in Aspen
It’s not a huge surprise that the RHOP cast ran into Umansky while they were in Aspen. The Bravo TV veteran spends a lot of time at his family’s vacation home in Colorado, and his daughter Alexia’s wedding will be held in Aspen in September 2025.
While Richards and Umansky announced their separation in July 2023, and Umansky moved out of the family’s Encino, California home in early 2024, the family still spends time together, sometimes in Aspen.
Late last year, Richards and Umansky were photographed shopping together in Aspen after meeting up there with their daughters for the holidays. In a video posted by TMZ, the exes appeared happy as they shopped with one of their dogs.
