Star of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Melissa Gorga, 46, is currently enjoying a vacation on St. Barth (or Saint Barthélemy), and is obviously feeling good about her life and her body. That’s surely why she took to Instagram to share a series of photos showing both her location and herself in a pair of bold bikinis.
The first collection included the reality TV star in a blue bikini with thin halter straps and ties on either side of her hips. Posing beside a pool with stunning trimmed hedges, palm trees and water in the distance as well as a beautiful blue sky with fluffy white clouds, she holds up a towel that matches her swimsuit.
She also shared photos of herself in a brown bikini that appeared to boast a bit of a shine.
In each pic, Melissa slays the swimsuit she’s wearing, possibly because she follows a few bikini-related rules that she’s willing to share.
Melissa Shared How to Find the Perfect Bikini
Melissa once told Us Weekly, “I have more swimsuits probably than I do underwear, which is crazy, but it’s true!”
Clearly someone who has experience choosing the right bikini for her body, she also told Us, “I feel like everyone needs to learn how to pick bikinis that fit their breasts properly.”
“I don’t like when the underboob is hanging out and I don’t like when there’s too much middle,” she explained. “I feel like you need to pick a bikini that has the perfect amount of coverage, which is not too much and not too little.”
Melissa Has 2 More Swimsuit Tips
That’s not the only tip that Melissa has for choosing the ideal swimsuit.
She also told Us Weekly, “It took me awhile to get used to baring a little bit more booty.”
”I don’t necessarily like G strings, but I do like when it’s a little bit of a booty cut,” she added. “There’s another cut that goes straight up which I don’t like. It looks like a diaper. You never wear bathing suits in the back that look like you’re wearing a diaper. It has to have some kind of arch where it makes your two round cheeks look plump and lots of squats help with that.”
Beyond that, she continued by saying, “If you’re not feeling good that day in the midsection and you don’t feel like baring all, then you can wear the monokini and I love those too.”
“Be careful with the monokinis because when they’re way too skimpy in the front, they just look trashy,” she stated. “There’s a fine line between a hot, sexy, classy, monokini, and a trashy, gross one, so don’t cross the line.”
