Melissa Gorga Opens up About Son Gino’s Future Plans & Why College May Not Be One of Them

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Melissa Gorga is a mom to three kids with her husband, Joe Gorga. And while their daughter, Antonia Gorga, has already left the nest for college, fans are now wondering if their middle child, Gino Gorga, will follow a similar path.

Now a high school senior, Gino is weighing his next big move, with the help of his parents, of course. In a recent interview, Melissa opened up about whether her son will pursue furthering his education and if that’s the right path for him.

Melissa and Joe Gorga are proud parents to three children, with their middle child, Gino Gorga, a high school senior. But will he follow in the same path as his sister and continue his education by going to college?

Speaking with Bravo’s Daily Dish, Melissa revealed whether going to school is in Gino’s future. “We’re thinking about it,” she shared, adding, “We’re not sure yet.”

Melissa hinted that Gino might be taking an exciting alternative path after graduation, sharing that he “is kind of an entrepreneur kind of guy.” Last year, Gino even showcased his very first business — a clothing line named Placidity Clothing.

And with a mom experienced in entrepreneurship and becoming a success, why not?

Although Gino may not want to go to college, Melissa and Joe already have plenty of experience helping one of their kids off to school. Antonia is currently in her junior year at the University of Delaware. Melissa shared with Bravo that Antonia’s possible major was in marketing.

“She loves marketing,” Melissa shared, adding that Antonia is “dabbling” in marketing, communications, and media.

Meanwhile, their youngest son, Joey Jr., is 15 years old and a sophomore in high school.

Melissa Opens up About Gino’s Football Journey

Melissa reflected on Gino’s football journey sharing sharing a snapshot from his very first game at just six years old on Instagram. The photo captured a young Gino proudly holding up his helmet and smiling at the camera. She captioned the image: “This was his very first day of football. He was so excited to get his equipment. He was just six years old. Today he is a senior and is going to play the state championship.”

Throughout high school, Gino stayed dedicated to football, often sharing moments of his games on his Instagram, showcasing his love for the sport and his school.

In fact, Joey Jr. plays by his older brother’s side, showcasing that he, too, has a love for the game. In one post, Melissa beamed with pride as she celebrated having both of her sons on the same high school football team.

“My biggest flex is when someone asks me “which one is yours” and I get to point at both of YOU 🤍,” she captioned her post.
