Season 11 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” is currently in production. Previously, Monique Samauels was thought not to be a part of the cast as she wasn’t included in Bravo’s announcement. Now, following a report to the contrary, she’s hinting at her return with a new social media post.
Samuels took to Instagram on April 24 to share a new photo of herself. In it, she’s wearing an elegant black dress complete with a chic array of jewelry. The RHOP fan-favorite said in the caption, “In the kitchen… cookin.” She also highlighted the stylist behind the look, Erana Tyler.
However, what has caught the attention of some is the way Samuels interacted with fans in the comments section. One person wrote, “Welcome back, Baby. We are glad you have returned.” The RHOP star liked the comment.
Someone else stated, “Please grab your flute back, I beg.” Samuels responded, “I’m fine with a glass of water.” A different Instagram user said, “We knew you were cooking up something!” That’s not all, “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Stacey Rusch liked the post.
It Was Previously Reported That Monique Samuels Would Return to RHOP
GettyMany social media accounts began to speculate in April 2026 that Samuels would, in fact, return as a friend of the show for RHOP season 11. This is especially the case because she’d previously expressed an openness to return and said she liked her limited role in season 10.
Following the speculation, The Neighborhood Talk released an exclusive, stating that the rumors were true and that Samuels would film with the cast.
They wrote, “Neighbors, it’s no secret that the casting for Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Potomac got some major shakeups! We spoke exclusively to some close sources who told us that Monique Samuels will be returning to the new season, but not full-time. Instead, she’s allegedly coming back as a friend of.
This comes after it was already reported that Kiarna Stewart and Angel Massey won’t be returning for the new season.”
According to PEOPLE, Samuels was confirmed to be returning to RHOP in June 2025 after a five-year hiatus. An insider told the outlet, “Monique’s in a totally different place now, and fans will see that.
She’s excited to show who she is now — not as a wife, not as just a mom, but as a woman starting over and taking on life on her own terms.”
Bravo Announced The ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Season 11 Cast In April
Season 10 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” ended in March 2026. After that, there was much speculation from fans about who might return. Then, Bravo broke its silence on April 10 by confirming the cast.
Per the announcement, Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch, and Tia Glover would be returning as full-time housewives. Additionally, it was announced that Robyn Dixon would be returning as a friend of the show following a two-season absence.
However, it should also be noted that Courtney Ajinca is reportedly filming with the cast, with some saying she could become a full-time cast member.
