Kyle Richards has shared the name of a Bravo co-star she reached an olive branch out to. The star tried to rekindle her communications with Dorit Kemley, after not hearing from her since the conclusion of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 15. However, after feuding throughout the season on and off causing their friendship to become rocky, Kyle has revealed that her olive branch has no far not worked as she hoped.
How Did Kyle Reach Out To Dorit?
GettyKyle explained during a conversation with ‘Us Weekly’ that she had reached out to Dorit back in June when she released her memoir ‘Unburdened’. She extended a warm congratulations to her co-star to wish her well, but the gesture unfortunately didn’t ignite a conversation between the old pals.
She explained: “Other than that, no, I haven’t heard from her or anything. It’s sad to me because, you know, I did care about her, and I do care about her and her family.”
Kyle continued to express how she hopes to successfully get back in touch with Dorit so she can be there to support her throughout her divorce from former flame Paul”PK” Kemsley, while she’s also navigating her own divorce from ex-husband Mauricio Umansky. The star added while on the subject: “I just feel like we’re both going through so much and that we would have been better off leaning on each other.”
Despite the silence from Dorit, in a separate interview with ‘Extra’, she said that she would always be “open” to reconciling with Kyle. In a clip that was later reposted to her Instagram account, Dorit said: “Listen, I think you need two people. Any type of resolve, you need two people. And I’ve always said that. And I’ve also always said because truly I’m the type of person where there’s nothing that you can’t get over if two people want to. And I’m always open to it. Always open to it.”
She continued: “And I think if Kyle feels the same way then there’s room. If she doesn’t, it’s not something I’m not going to try to push my way to try and mend things if that’s not in her heart. I know she cares about me. I care about her. I care about her daughters immensely.”
Why Were The Ladies Feuding in Season 15?
GettyKyle and Dorit found themselves butting heads during season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for a number of reasons. One was Dorit being upset because Kyle made a remark about her spending habits. Meanwhile another conflict centered around Dorit accusing Kyle of not being supportive of her career.
The ladies also found themselves arguing over a series of text messages that Dorit said were “manipulative” of Kyle to have sent. Only time will tell if the duo start speaking again but we can keep our fingers crossed for an amicable reconciliation while both Kyle and Dorit work their way through their respective divorces.
