RHOC Alum Vicki Gunvalson Shares an Update

While Vicki Gunvalson doesn’t appear to be returning to “Real Housewives of Orange County” any time soon, that doesn’t mean that her life is in limbo. Instead, the reality is that the Bravo OG seems to be thriving in her personal life.

Vicki recently shared on her podcast, “My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast,” that she and her boyfriend of more than three years have purchased a new home together.

Vicki began dating Michael Smith, a Texas businessman, more than three years ago, and now she confirms that they have bought a home together in La Quinta, California.

โ€œWe werenโ€™t gonna do it,โ€ she told her co-host Christian Gray Snow on her podcast. โ€œThen we asked for a second appraisal, and it came back higher than what we offered, so we pulled the trigger, and it was a 14-day close.โ€

Apparently, the former reality star has spent a considerable amount of time handling upgrades to the property, while Michael has been busy with work in Texas.

Vicki took to her Instagram Story on Sept. 20, 2025, to share some photos of the property to her followers.

She captioned it all, “New home reveal.” She then posted a video explaining, โ€œMichael and I bought a house in La Quinta. It came furnished, but you know me, I canโ€™t do black and white. Iโ€™m actually gonna keep the leather white couchโ€ฆ but Iโ€™m softening it up with all different shades of green. The outside is all green. Itโ€™s beautiful.โ€

Working on the House Is Keeping Vicki Busy

While the property is new to Vicki and Michael, it still needs considerable work. The 35-year-old property required electrical work, new lighting fixtures, and thermostats. Additionally, she planned to dispose of some furniture pieces that came with the house.

In her video tour, Vicki showed off white marble floors and a living room fireplace. She walked into a stark white kitchen and explained that she plans to “make it prettier.”

Vicki admits that getting things ready to move in was harder than she had expected. She explained, “Needless to say, my [to-do] list [is long]. I had to hire a landscaper, a pool guy, this, that. So, Michaelโ€™s in Texas, and heโ€™s like, โ€˜I want to be there!โ€™ And said, โ€˜Well, baby, Iโ€™m getting it done.โ€™โ€

Now that Vicki is just about settled into her new home with Michael, would you like to see her return to “Real Housewives of Orange County,” or do you think her run should be over with?
