RHOM Star Shares Exciting Relationship and Life Update

Julia Lemigova has really been through a lot over the last few years. The “Real Housewives of Miami” star has been a rock of support during her wife’s cancer battle, and has been entangled in a handful of Bravo battles as well. She and Martina Navratilova adopted two young boys, a move that has put distance between Julia and her older daughters.

Fans of the series watched as the season seven reunion shook Julia’s world to the core when she decided to share her version of the truth about her real relationship and hookup with Adriana. Now, after the dust has settled, Julia has shared an exciting life update with OK Magazine.

Julia now confirms that she is officially chasing her passion. She is now enrolled in the opera program at Florida International University’s School of Music. It was that special RHOM episode where she surprised Martina with an opera performance that unlocked her new goals

“I’m a really curious person. When I started opera two years ago, I hated it when I would hit so many wrong notes. When I got this opportunity on the show (RHOM), I said to myself, ‘I don’t want to stop. I want to go back to basics and study it.’ Now I’m with 18 and 20-year-old kids studying and taking so many different classes, but I love it. It’s exhausting, but I’m working this muscle in my brain, and I’ve never felt more alive,” explains Julia.

The reality star is also very busy with her children, and the farm animals that she tends to, but she is enjoying this new season in her life.

While the last few years have been filled with bumps and hurdles, Julia feels like she is really thriving now. “I’ve never felt more inspired to go back to school in this phase of my life. It feels incredibly empowering. It’s something I wanted to pursue for a long time, and I’m doing it purely for me.”

“And yes, I’m showing up every day to class in person. When I walk into the classroom, I’m not a Housewife. I’m not a mom. I’m simply Julia, the student. I also want to set an example for my boys to show them that learning never stops.”

Julia’s relationship with Martina seems to have endured her admissions of infidelity as well. On Oct. 17, 2025, she posted a photo of the twosome on Instagram, with the caption, “When it’s real, you don’t need to prove it!”

She told PEOPLE in a new interview that the infidelity and its fallout brought repairing her marriage to the forefront of her life.

“It made us more committed to repairing what was slightly fractured, and definitely communicate better — because that’s where, maybe, the fracture started. And today, we’re in a really great place. Our focus is on each other and on our family. My marriage to Martina is the most sacred part of my life. I hurt her, and I take full responsibility for that. But I’ve asked her for forgiveness and she’s forgiven me.”
