“Real Housewives of New York City” is getting ready to move forward after a long pause. Bravo put the series on hold after season 15 ended in February 2025, leaving fans unsure when — or if — the reboot would return. Now, Andy Cohen’s recent comments and new casting talk suggest the show is moving ahead with season 16.
According to a reliable Bravo and Cocktails source, filming is expected to begin next week. The same source gave the outlet a cast list that includes a few returning housewives reportedly staying on alongside several new additions.
RHONY Season 16 Filming Timeline and BravoCon Update
Cohen previously confirmed that RHONY would return and said production was moving ahead. During a panel appearance at BravoCon 2025, he said the show would have a cast and begin filming soon.
“I have to say, I’m so excited. I can tell you that we have a cast for the ‘Real Housewives of New York City,’ and we are going to be filming in the next few months. So, very excited about that,” Cohen said.
The comment served as one of the clearest signals that Bravo planned to continue the reboot beyond season 15.
RHONY Season 16 Cast Rumors Include Returning Trio and New Additions
According to Bravo and Cocktails, the expected season 16 lineup includes:
- Erin Lichy
- Jessel Taank
- Sai De Silva
- Nicole Daisy Toye
- Hailey Glassman
- Janelle Lloyd
- One additional new housewife (not yet identified)
Lichy, Taank, and DeSilva have been widely expected to remain involved with the franchise, and all three appeared at BravoCon 2025. Taank also teased updates last fall while speaking about the show’s status.
“It’s definitely in the works,” she told E! News on October 3. “There will be several announcements coming soon.”
Lichy also addressed the possibility of continuing on the show in an interview with Entertainment Tonight at Glamour’s 2025 Women of the Year Awards.
“I think we need to see this through,” she said. “We need to pizzazz it up a little bit. We’re not done.”
RHONY Newbies Include a Publicist, Fashion Director, and Celebrity Makeup Artist
Hailey Glassman, who was spotted arriving at Bravo HQ by The US Sun this week, is a publicist and former reality TV figure who gained national attention in 2009 for her relationship with Jon Gosselin following his divorce from Kate Gosselin.
Janelle Marie Lloyd is a New York-based fashion director, stylist, and digital creator, known for her style-focused platform and industry presence.
Nicole Daisy Toye is a celebrity makeup artist who has worked closely with Martha Stewart for nearly 20 years, according to the casting details shared by Bravo and Cocktails.
Bravo has not confirmed the latest cast news.
Jenna Lyons Previously Explained Why She Didn’t Want to Return for RHONY Season 16
As casting rumors continue, former cast member Jenna Lyons has already made clear she does not plan to return full-time. Lyons previously discussed feeling disconnected from the group dynamic because of her age and life stage, and she later reflected on those feelings SiriusXM’s The Happy Hour with host Talia Parkinson.
“The first season, I was the oldest person, and I was also the only gay person,” Lyons said. “I didn’t realize until the second season where they brought in another woman who was closer to my age and also gay… how alone I felt.”
Lyons said she struggled to relate during conversations about dating and relationships.
“Imagine, like every time you’re having a conversation about sex or dating or anything around relationships, like I could not relate,” she said. “I felt completely on the outside.”
Lyons later suggested the show’s direction was changing again, explaining that the incoming cast skewed younger.
“Three of the people are gone, and the new people that are coming in, they’re much younger,” she said.
When she confirmed her exit, Lyons stated she had been offered a “friend” role but felt the show was moving toward a different dynamic.

She is only on there with any sense.. worst bunch I’ve ever seen
