Sarah Michelle Gellar is weighing in on the current season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and her candid take is already getting attention among Bravo fans.
During a recent appearance on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast by Page Six, hosted by Evan Real and Danny Murphy, the actress was asked whether she’s been enjoying the latest season of the long-running reality series.
Her response was candid.
When asked if she’s loving the season, Gellar said no, adding that it has felt “slow” so far. She noted that while she enjoys the cast overall, the pacing has not fully pulled her in.
At the same time, Gellar made it clear that her comments were not a critique of the people on the show.
“I like the cast,” she said, pointing to Rachel Zoe as a standout addition this season. She also highlighted Bozoma Saint John and longtime fan-favorite Kathy Hilton as personalities she enjoys watching.
“I live for Kathy (Hilton) and Rachel (Zoe),” Gellar added, emphasizing the cast members who have stood out to her.
Why Gellar’s Comments May Sound Familiar to Fans
Gellar’s reaction reflects a broader conversation among viewers, many of whom have been discussing the pacing of the current “RHOBH” season.
While the series remains one of Bravo’s most recognizable franchises, early episodes have prompted mixed reactions online, particularly around how quickly storylines are developing.
Gellar also noted that the season appears to be starting to pick up, suggesting that momentum may be building as the episodes continue.
Her comments highlight how closely Bravo fandom and pop culture continue to intersect, with high-profile viewers openly sharing their takes on reality television.
A Spinoff Idea That Fans May Get Behind
In addition to her thoughts on the current season, Gellar also floated a lighthearted idea that could easily resonate with Bravo viewers.
She said she would watch a spinoff centered around Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly, two personalities she clearly enjoys.
While the suggestion was made casually, it speaks to the ongoing popularity of standout cast members who often generate interest beyond the main series.
Gellar Also Weighs In on ‘Buffy’ Reboot Talk
Beyond Bravo, Gellar has also been speaking candidly about the recent decision not to move forward with a planned “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” revival.
In a recent interview with People, she shared how unexpected the news was, saying, “Let me tell you, nobody saw this coming.”
Gellar explained that the timing of the decision made the situation even more difficult, adding that she felt “saddened at how it was handled and when it was handled.”
The actress also revealed that the project had faced challenges behind the scenes, noting that there was “an executive on our show who was not only not a fan of the original,” which contributed to difficulties in bringing the revival to life.
Despite the setback, Gellar emphasized how much the project meant to both her and the fans, making it clear that the decision was not taken lightly.

I don’t agree with this opinion. Kathy Hilton doesn’t have much to say. She’s in another world. Tilly is too out there. Opposite Hilton. Too flashy and talks too much trying to be funny. That current cast belong together. A family we expect to see. Dorit needs counseling asap.
I Think Sarah Michelle Gellar Is a insufferable bully
