Sutton Stracke is keeping her eye on real estate far outside of the 90210 zip code. In a December 2025 interview, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star revealed that she’s been looking at homes in Charleston, South Carolina, the hometown of the Bravo reality series “Southern Charm.”
Speaking with the Daily Dish, Stracke, 54, explained that she wants to buy a place in the south near her mother, Reba Brown, and son, Phillip, 21, who is a senior at The Citadel Military College.
“I keep looking, because you know, my mother’s in Charleston and my son is in school in Charleston, and he wants to graduate school somewhere else, and then he wants to eventually end up in Charleston,” the RHOBH star shared.
Stracke was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, but after college in South Carolina she moved to New York City to study dance, according to Afterbuzz TV. She bought a house in Bel-Air, CA, in 2012 with her then-husband, Christian Stracke, per People magazine.

Stracke has lived in a couple of different homes since joining RHOBH in 2020, including a rental property owned by her co-star Kyle Richards. During the RHOBH Season 14 reunion earlier this year, castmate Dorit Kemsley famously pointed out the location of Stracke’s latest mansion, telling her, “You don’t exactly live like the Queen of Sheba — you live on a f—ing main road.”
Stracke is ready to add to her real estate portfolio with a home by the Atlantic Ocean. “I keep looking at real estate porn for, like, houses on the Isle of Palms, or something like that would be nice,”she told The Daily Dish. “I don’t have a beach house, so I think I’m about due. I’ve always wanted a beach house.”
Stracke previously posted an Instagram video while visiting the coastal region of South Carolina. “Good morning, everybody. I’m here in my favorite place in the world, Lowcountry of South Carolina, with this beautiful ocean behind me,” she said earlier this year.
Sutton Stracke Has Friends on ‘Southern Charm’
Once she does buy a place in Charleston, Stracke won’t have to look far for friends. She is already pals with several cast members from “Southern Charm,” including Craig Conover, Patricia Altschul, and Venita Aspen.
Earlier this year, she posed with Conover at a restaurant, noting that she “keeps bumping into” him. And in early December, Stracke posted to Instagram after spending time with Aspen at BravoCon.
“I can’t love this friend more 💕💕💕💕,” Stracke captioned the photo, from the fan fest in Las Vegas.
