“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Sutton Stracke shared a recent update with fans when she went to visit the youngest of her three kids, 18-year-old James Stracke, the son she shares with her ex-husband Christian Stracke.
Sutton Sees James off at College
James began his freshman year of college this year after he graduated from Loyola High School.
Sutton documented the momentous occasion in an Instagram reel she shared on June 7.
“Not the baby!!! Third child has graduated! Congratulations to all those class of 2025!! Wishing you all the very best in life,” she wrote in the caption.
Sutton was also there to see James off for his first day of college. In a touching Instagram reel from August 24, Sutton documented moving James into his dorm room in a short but sweet video that had The Rolling Stones’ “I’m Free” playing in the background.
“Baby bird is free and out of the nest!” Sutton wrote in the heartfelt caption of her post. “Wishing you the best and most wonderful next four years full of friendship and love, courage and strength, knowledge and kindness, growth and wisdom. I love you, James.”
A few of her fellow “Real Housewives” friends flooded her comment section with love and well wishes for James.

“Aw! 😍 James! He grew up so fast!” Jennifer Tilly, actress and friend of the housewives, pointed out.

Sutton Attends Parents’ Weekend
Sutton recently returned to Spartanburg in northwestern South Carolina, offering fans a glimpse into James’ first year at Wofford College.
In one Instagram story, she posted “Go Terriers!” referring to the town of her own alma mater, Converse University.
“Loving being back at the haunt in Spartanburg for parents weekend with James,” she wrote beneath a photo of her and James posing together with matching smiles.
Another photo showed James with a group of his classmates holding puppies.
Sutton also shared a beautiful photo of the trees changing colors for the fall season. “Love fall in Spartanburg,” she wrote.
