Teddi Mellencamp Gives Emotional Update on Stage 4 Cancer Treatment

Teddi Mellencamp is giving fans another glimpse into her ongoing cancer treatment.

The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 45, shared an update on social media this week while documenting another round of immunotherapy.

Mellencamp has been open about the physical and emotional challenges of her cancer journey, regularly giving followers a look at her treatment and recovery.

On Thursday, Aug. 20, Mellencamp shared a throwback workout video from 2024 and poked fun at her former approach to social media.

“Pre-brain tumor Teddi took herself very seriously on the gram,” she wrote.

More Treatment Is Ahead

Mellencamp then revealed that she still has months of treatment ahead of her.

“Nine more months of [weekly immunotherapy] treatments. Let’s hope I’ll be back to being cringe in my workout posts soon [because] I know y’all miss them,” she wrote.

She also described immunotherapy as “the worst” and said she was feeling “sick.”

Mellencamp asked her more than 1 million Instagram followers for recommendations for comedies and stand-up specials to watch while she recovers.

The update came shortly after Mellencamp documented what she described as her “least favorite day of the month.”

In Instagram Stories shared Wednesday, Aug. 19, the reality star showed how she prepared for another immunotherapy appointment.

Before leaving home, she received a hug from her 6-year-old daughter, Dove. Mellencamp also shares daughter Slate, 14, and son Cruz, who turned 12 on Aug. 21, with her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave.

“Immunotherapy day” was her “least favorite day of the month,” she wrote, although she added that she had “all the necessities so I am blessed.”

Mellencamp showed fans the items she brought with her, including a pillow, water and an iPad. She later filmed herself at the hospital as medical staff prepared to administer her treatment.

“So now we warm my arms up to see where we can find a vein. Yep. I’m hoping… I’m hoping it’s my left arm today. Fingers crossed,” she said.

Mellencamp was initially diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in 2022. Over the following years, she underwent numerous procedures to treat the disease. In April 2025, she revealed that doctors had discovered that the cancer had spread to her brain and lungs.

She subsequently underwent surgery to remove brain tumors and continued treatment with immunotherapy.

In October 2025, Mellencamp said doctors found “no detectable cancer” in her body. However, she has continued to undergo treatment and previously explained that she was not considered to be in remission at that point.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding her health, Mellencamp has continued to share aspects of her personal life with fans.

She Has a New Man

Earlier this month, she made her relationship with PJ Conley Instagram official. The couple attended a concert by Mellencamp’s father, singer John Mellencamp, where Conley met members of her family.

“First he met a cougar. Then he met The Cougs.#valleyguy aka PJ @pjconleyy #iykyk @two.ts.inapod. Thanks to everyone who came out to support @johnmellencamp last night. It was incredible seeing everyone have the time of their lives,” she captioned the post.

For now, Mellencamp continues to balance treatment with family, work and her personal life while keeping her followers updated on the road ahead.
