Teresa Giudice continues to show unwavering support for her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star recently traveled overseas to join him at a major event in Madrid.
Why Teresa Giudice Went to Spain to Join Husband Louie Ruelas
Giudice, 51, headed to Spain this week as Ruelas prepared to participate in CreatorHub, a three-day global economic event for digital creators. The conference, which begins Sept. 28 at the UMusic Hotel, features prominent names including Perez Hilton and Chanel Ayan of “The Real Housewives of Dubai.”
Ruelas shared the news on Instagram Sept. 25 with a flyer promoting the event. “Madrid, here we come,” he wrote. “Super excited to join CreatorHub Madrid… the 1st creator economy event in Europe. Creators, community, and culture all in one place. Let’s make history together.”
Giudice documented parts of the trip on her own Instagram Stories, showcasing the UMusic Hotel’s amenities, including its rooftop bar overlooking Madrid. Her daughter Milania also revealed she would be attending, along with Gia Giudice, Gia’s longtime boyfriend Christian Carmichael, and Louie’s son from a previous relationship, Louie Jr.
“I’m going to Madrid this weekend,” Milania said in a Sept. 25 TikTok. “I’m so excited. It’s going to be so cool.”
Teresa Opens on Marriage to Louie Ruelas & Life After Divorce
The Madrid trip reflects the couple’s ongoing closeness and support for each other since their wedding in August 2022. Giudice finalized her divorce from Joe Giudice in 2020, following his deportation to Italy and later move to the Bahamas.
During a Sept. 25 appearance on the “Viall Files” podcast, Giudice opened up to host Nick Viall about the differences between her first and second marriages. “Joe was just taken out of my life. He got deported,” she said. “Out of my life for something better to come. And that was Louie.”
She continued: “So now I feel like, and I tell my kids, I feel like that was part of my journey. Like, I had to go through that in order to meet Louie. And Louie, I’m telling you, like, he’s just my guy. There’s something to be said about a second marriage… The second time, you actually know what you want.”
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” mom has often highlighted how Ruelas supports her and her four daughters as they blend families. The couple’s Spanish getaway appears to be another example of how they prioritize being together, whether on reality TV, at home in New Jersey, or on the international stage.
