SEE: Todd Tucker Writes Affectionate Birthday Post to Ex-Wife Kandi Burruss After Instagram Squabble

Todd Tucker took to Instagram on May 17 to celebrate the birthday of his ex-wife Kandi Burruss, and judging by his post, the exes are back on good terms following a small social media spat back in April.

Todd, who married Kandi in the finale of the pair’s 5-part “Real Housewives of Atlanta” spinoff series “Kandi’s Wedding” in 2014, sounded very affectionate towards the “No Scrubs” songwriter in a kind birthday post.

The 52-year-old wrote, “Happy birthday @kandi Welcome to the club. I wish you good health, wealth, peace and happiness. Have fun! Turn up!” He then encouraged Kandi to “have a drink” before reminding her to live because we only get to do it once, and finishing with an enthusiastic “Happy Birthday!”

For the photo, he used a sexy snap of the businesswoman showing off her toned legs in a fur-lined minidress and rocking a tall pair of cage heels.

The post prompted fans to beg Todd to reunite with his ex. One wrote, “I pray you all spin the block! Nothing out here.” Another chimed in, “Gone get ya wife back Todd ❤️❤️❤️ just make a video for the world to see apologize.”

What Did Todd Say About Kandi On Instagram?

Back in April, Kandi shared a promo for her one-woman show “I Do, I Did, I’m Done” to which Todd didn’t take kindly. The promo showed Kandi’s mother, Mama Joyce, humming the tune “Ain’t No Mountain high enough” before flashing back to a “RHOA” clip of the matriarch telling her former son-in-law that there “Ain’t no river high enough, ain’t no ocean deep out, ain’t no dessert hot enough” to stop her from keeping a watch on Todd.

Throughout the episodes about Kandi’s wedding, Mama Joyce was never a fan of Todd, and even discouraged Kandi from going through with the marriage.

Todd commented on the promo video, “They will use me until I’m all used up! And I was supposed to be the opportunist!” to which Kandi shot back, “please stop playing victim” before adding an eyeroll emoji and telling Todd he was on the “wrong road.”

Todd doubled down, commenting, “I’m not playing victim we exploited our relationship on the way in so we might as well do it on the way out! Get yall tickets!”

On March 21, Todd supported Kandi by sharing a flyer for her show on Instagram. In the caption he wrote that Kandi “ain’t done” before adding, “lol just kidding.”

Why Did Kandi & Todd Divorce?

Kandi has not outright revealed the reason for her split from Todd, with whom she shares a school-aged daughter and son, but has heavily implied that Todd cheated on her.

While rehearsing in April for her upcoming shows, she captioned a singing video “My man’s been cheating on me!”

Her song also contained lyrics that hinted at betrayal. They included, “When I got home last night, something didn’t seem right. I think I know what’s going on.”

The details of Kandi and Todd’s divorce settlement were reported on by TMZ in March. The outlet said they learned from court docs that neither party will pay spousal or child support, and Todd received a lump sum of $426k from Kandi.
