JaNa Craig is ready to embrace whatever comes next.
The “Love Island USA” alum is preparing to enter her 30s with a new outlook and an expanding career that now includes her first scripted project.
During an interview with People at T-Mobile’s Club Magenta during Lollapalooza, JaNa reflected on approaching her milestone birthday.
“I turn 30 at the end of this year. It’s a whole new chapter. I’m so excited,” JaNa said.
The 29-year-old explained that the lessons she learned throughout her 20s have made her hopeful about the next decade.
“I learned so much in my 20s, so I’m so grateful and extremely excited for what the 30s will bring me,” she added.
Embracing the Unknown
GettyJaNa said she is approaching her future with excitement instead of allowing fear to control her decisions.
“I like to embrace the unknown,” she said. “So knowing that I have no idea what’s gonna happen next is what’s the most exciting part of it all.”
JaNa was in Season 6 of “Love Island USA” in 2024. She and Kenny Rodriguez finished the season in third place and continued their relationship outside the villa.
The pair announced their breakup in July 2025. JaNa later described the circumstances surrounding their split as “terrible, disgusting and disappointing.”
Finding Her Confidence Again
In July 2026, JaNa told People that she had spent the previous year learning and rebuilding her confidence after the breakup.
“I’ve always loved myself, but when you go through what I went through, it kind of lowered the confidence a little bit, but we’re back up,” she said.
As she moves forward, JaNa is focused on saying “yes to everything” and remaining open to opportunities outside reality television and social media. She also has several people offering support as she navigates the next stage of her career.
JaNa credited “Love Island USA” host Ariana Madix with helping her through a difficult period.
“She gives amazing advice,” JaNa said, adding that Ariana had to calm her down “real, real hard” during the previous year.
JaNa said other well-known stars have also reached out to offer encouragement and guidance.
“I have a lot of big people that I dream of and look up to that are looking at me, supporting me and rooting for me,” she said.
JaNa Teases a Mystery Project
GettyOne of those opportunities is a secret scripted project, which marks a major change for the reality star.
“My most recent, exciting project was a scripted film,” JaNa revealed. “I’ve never done scripted.”
JaNa joked that she is used to being “little miss unscripted” and having the freedom to say whatever she wants. Taking on a character gave her the chance to explore a new side of performing.
“It goes really good with who you guys first met me off,” JaNa teased. “That’s the only hint I can give you. You’ll see very soon.”
