“Love Island USA” star Kayda is feeling confident about her future with Zach after leaving the villa.
During an appearance on the “In Your Dreams” podcast, the 22-year-old opened up about their relationship, explaining why their connection feels different from a typical reality TV romance and sharing their plans now that they are adjusting to life outside the show.

Kayda Says Her Relationship With Zach Feels Different Outside the Villa
Kayda explained that her relationship with Zach never felt like it existed solely for reality television.
Even inside the villa, she felt confident about their connection. Although their relationship developed gradually on an emotional level, Kayda said they are continuing to take things slowly and enjoy their time together.
The experience also allowed them to form a close bond without the usual distractions of everyday life.
Kayda said she enjoyed being without her phone while filming and believes the environment allowed contestants to get to know each other on a deeper level. She described herself and Zach as highly compatible and said they were each what the other hoped to find when entering the villa.
Their relationship also weathered challenges during the season. Kayda later watched some scenes involving Zach because she wanted to understand what viewers had seen while she was filming.
Kayda Reveals Plans to Stay With Zach in Los Angeles
The couple is now preparing for another major change.
Kayda revealed on the podcast that Zach offered to let her stay with him while she establishes her new life in Los Angeles.
“So, Zach said I could stay with him rent-free for a little bit,” she explained, adding that she plans to stay there until she determines her next move.
Kayda will have her own room so she can maintain some personal space. She acknowledged that living together could make her want to continue the arrangement but also emphasized that she is young and eventually wants a place of her own.
Zach recently secured his visa and is moving to Los Angeles, while Kayda said she has essentially already made the move herself.
She also discussed potentially finding an apartment with fellow “Love Island USA” star Trinity, whose friendship with Kayda began when Trinity welcomed her with a hug upon her arrival at the villa.
Kayda Looks Ahead to Modeling After ‘Love Island USA’
Beyond her relationship, Kayda is thinking about how to use her new platform.
She expressed interest in pursuing modeling more seriously and enthusiastically responded when asked about potentially working with Victoria’s Secret.
Before “Love Island USA,” Kayda had modeling experience through test shoots but had not booked major professional shoots. She said she previously felt intimidated by castings and the competitive modeling industry but now feels more confident pursuing those opportunities.
Just months after working as a server in New Hampshire, Kayda is navigating a dramatically different life.
Between building her relationship with Zach, moving to Los Angeles and exploring modeling opportunities, she appears ready to embrace what comes after the villa while still giving herself room to determine exactly what she wants next.
