Reality TV star Nicole Young is living her best life in Nashville, following her official departure from hit Netflix series ‘Selling Sunset’.
Young recently told US Weekly she “couldn’t be happier.” The statement came amongst the news that she had decided to leave the show due to her “disheartening” portrayal.
Young Starts New Life in Nashville
Young recently took to Instagram to show fans her new Nashville abode.
“It’s been a hell of a journey getting here, but we FINALLY found and bought our dream home and we couldn’t be happier!” she posted.
“I’m absolutely loving life in Nashville and couldn’t be happier with this new chapter,” Young told US Weekly.
“I’m grateful for my time on ‘Selling Sunset’ and everything it brought into my life, but it was the right moment to close that door.”
She continued, “I’m excited for what’s ahead, this is definitely not the last you’ll see from me.”
Realtor.com revealed the star had recently purchased her dream home for $2.3 billion.
In October, she told the site she was eyeing property in Tennessee.
“My next step now is Nashville and we’ll see from there,” she said.
She previously told Nashville Fit Magazine her decision to relocate to Nashville was also due to her husband’s family roots.
“Half of my husband’s family lives in Nashville. His parents actually grew up there, so tons of extended family there as well,” she said.
“It was so cool and also crazy because it was like everything sort of pointed in that direction,” she said of the move.
“The universe is like, ‘Yes, this is the right move.’ Our families are so excited and all of our friends are so excited.”
Young also recently posted a stunning photo of her dramatic new look.
“Apparently going brunette was my personality plot twist and I’m here for it,” she wrote, with the hashtags #nashville and #newera.
Young Leaves “Selling Sunset” Due To “Unnecessarily Toxic” Situation
GettyPEOPLE confirmed Young would not be returning for season 10 of “Selling Sunset.”
“Nicole was consistently placed in situations which required her to remain on the defensive, often within what can only be described as unnecessarily toxic and overly contrived dramatic circumstances,” a representative said.
The rep continued that Young’s portrayal during her time on the show was “rather disheartening to observe.”
Young was placed in a “persistent position of having to defend both her character and her intentions,” they claimed.
During her time on the show, Young repeatedly clashed with fellow cast member Chrishell Stause. Stause announced her exit from the show in November 2025.
